Hello, hope your having a good Thursday. It is freezing here. Supposed to start to warm up to 40 degrees by Saturday. That will feel like 75 to us. We have had a really snowy, cold winter. And , I have the heating bills to prove it, despite trying to keep the thermastat down when we aren't here and lower than usual when we are. Todays card is Spring like, because I was tired of Valentines. The tulips are a small Hero Art Stamp. The layout is the sketch challenge at SCS this week. The bunnies are punched out. Thanks for stopping by. Working on an Elephant on ice skates for tomorrow's card. Until later.....................Thursday, February 5, 2009

BLOG DOG-IT'S COLD OUTSIDE
WOW! It's going down to 3 degrees overnight. But this girl doesn't care, not with that fur coat. She actually loves the snow and cold. She lays right up against the front door at night. She is a 10 year old Keeshond and such a sweet girl, just had to share this picture of her in the snow. I'll be back tomorrow with a new card. Keep warm. Until later.........Jack Frost
Hi, Welcome in to wonderful Wednesday! Thanks for stopping in for a peek today. We are supposed to get some very cold weather again, for the next few days until the weekend, so I pulled out Jack Frost. I love this stamp!! Jack is up on the rooftop, painting the frost on the windows. The stamp is by The Stamp Barn, a Canadian company in Ottawa, Ontario. The paper is from a paper pack I bought on an out of town trip a few years ago with papers for every month of the year. The snowflakes and swirls are punches. I cut the frame from silver paper on my sizzix and then ran it through the swirls cuddlebug folder. I had some emails from people wondering what Stampin Up set the bird card that I posted yesterday came from. It is a large stamp 5x6 and it was a single stamp, not a set and is dated 2002. Hope you have a great day. Until later..............Tuesday, February 3, 2009
Bird and Berries
Good morning. I'm off to work today. Today's card is a retired Stampin Up Stamp, which I just love. The image is so lovely, I wanted to keep the embellishments on the card fairly simple, not to overshadow the image. It's snowing again. Seems like every week when I work Tuesday and Wednesday it snows! They're going to start calling me stormy at work! Hope you have a great Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by. LOVES ME, LOVES ME NOT
Hi, here is today's card. I made this card for the Monday House Mouse Challenge. The words are by Stampabilities also. Background paper is Basic Grey, Bittersweet paper pad. The large corner flower is by Heidi Swapp. Also used a paper doily from the dollar store. Hope you had a great Monday, thanks for stopping by. I'm working on a beautiful bird stamp for tomorrow. Until later.........Sweet Treats

Hi, happy Monday, thanks for stopping by. Today I'm sharing with you some Valentines treats I made for Megan's class (my granddaughter) for the upcoming holiday. I wrapped Hershey candy bars in designer paper, attached a pencil and for the girls, I found these cute paper clip hearts at Michaels in the $ 1.00 bin (six to a package) and attached them also. I used soccer and baseball paper for the boys , can't be too fancy( it is for 5th grade boys), and a punched heart that says "got chocolate". The three larger bars in the center, are for three teachers she wanted me to make treats for. The first picture is a candy box I bought in the Wilton (cake decorating section) of the crafts stores. I decorated it and addes Hershey kisses for someone special for the holiday. Hope maybe this gave you some inspiration. Until later......Sunday, February 1, 2009
Cute Chicks
Hi, Happy Sunday. Thanks for coming in to take a peek. Can you believe it is February 1st already! One of my favorite sayings on a Mary Englebreit calendar I have is "Time flies, whether your having fun or not". I did have fun making this circle card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge. They have a challenge every Saturday and I have put a link to it in the left margin of this blog. This is my first time joining in. This little kitty is so proud of his new chick! I must be in a kitty mood lately. Enjoy your Super Bowl Sunday, think I will go shopping if the weather doesn't get windy and snowy again this afternoon. Until later.................
