Pickin" Flowers

The Finished Card
Close Up!

What I used to make the Card!
Hello. Happy Sunday. Hope your day is relaxing and you are able to enjoy some nice weather wherever you are. Today we are having a baby shower in our family for a baby boy due in August. Today's card is for the Penny Black challenge. I ordered some vintage stamps from last week's sponsor of the challenge and they already arrived and this little guy is one of them. I was so excited to get these images that now are retired and he charges just what they retailed for originally!!!!!!(www.pbstamps.com) . The Challenge was Gorgeous Blooms. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by for a look. Until later.................

Seashells

Hi. Happy beginning to the weekend. Hope whatever your plans, they include some downtime and something fun you like to do. Today's card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.
The designer papers are by K and Company, seaglass. The sparkly blue background is by DCWV, Citrus stack. Both stamps are by Inkadinkado. Have a great Saturday, thanks for stopping by. Leave a comment if you can. Until later..............

PARIS

Hi, it's finally Friday! Hope your having a good one. Going to be warm and sunny today. Yesterday we went to the "Fish" Store to get plants and stuff for the pond. We lost one of our big fish recently (just completely disappeared) so we pick out a new speckled white and black goldfish to replace her. We also got two really big pollywogs, which will become frogs by mid summer we are told. Then, they told us they may leave the pond. So, let me get this straight. We purchase these guys, give them a great home to mature in, and after raising them to froghood, they leave! Right now, they are just giant heads with tails, so will be exciting to see them start to get legs. Of course, we haven't seen them since we put them in the pond. Today's card is for the Simon Says Challenge. The challenge is to stamp something in the style of Tim Holtz, a rubber stamp artist who does magic with ranger inks. I have all the distress inks and the alcohol inks, but decided to make a tag to attach to a card. I don't have any of the stamps
from Stampers Anonymous that he uses, but thought this stamp was similar. I used my distress inks direct to paper then stamped images. Embellishments include hardware and chipboard, ribbon and pearls. The tag kinda tells a story of a love that took place in Paris, and now she is waiting to hear from "him " again wondering if he is thinking of her. Thanks for stopping by. Until later..............

Down on the Farm

Hello. Thanks for stopping in. Tilda has moved to the country. At least that's what the challenge is at Matilda Down Under this week. I won the challenge last week with my stair step beach card and I was so excited! I got to add a badge on my Blog saying that I had won. What fun. Back to this week's challenge and today's card. Farm scene is a stamp by Stampouri, container of strawberries, Lockhart Stamp Co., Sentiment, Cornish Heritage Farms, and the paper for the card is from the Green Stack by DCWV. Have a great Thursday. Until later....

My Honey Bunny

Close Up
Hello eveyone. Not much new going on. I'm going to run out today and make the rounds of the craft stores, been about three weeks since I did that. I managed to vacuum up the stamp room, but the table is still stacked with stuff I need to put away. It's just never ending. Today's card is a House Mouse Stamp. I made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge and the challenge was to use an animal on your card. The paper is from the Sweet Stack. The sentiment is from High Hopes. (I bought this stamp for you Honey Bunny, you know who you are!) Hope your day is going well. Thanks for stopping by. I do miss you Sheila! Until later..................

Mr. and Mrs.

Hi, hope your enjoying your Tuesday. I got to stamp this morning for awhile, but then a friend stopped by to help Rick with a job and I ended up making lunch and tidying up. I made today's card for the House Mouse Challenge. The theme was wedding/anniversary. I have had this stamp for awhile and never used it. So, today was the day. I colored the image and cut out the bride and groom. The card is made from a stack by My Mind's Eye called Out and About. The red heart shimmer paper I ordered from an envelope company I got envies from. The now and forever stamp is by Studio G, $ 1.00 from Michaels! The flowers I glued to the heart are from the bridal department at Michaels. What do you think? Don't they make a darling couple? Thanks for stopping by. Until later................

Have'nt Heard a Peep

Close up of image.
Hello, happy start of the week. Kind of a dreary day today with spotty rain and cool again. Hard to believe it's June 1st already. Today's card is for the Penny Black Challenge. I got this cute image from my sister when she decided to get rid of her stamps. It was a sketch Challenge this week and it was a fun sketch to work with. The vellum butterfly is a stamp by Purple Sky Ltd.
Hope your day is going great. Thanks as always for stopping by for a look. Leave a comment if you can. Unti later..................
