Hello...Happy Flag Day! Hope everyone is getting in some time to relax today and enjoy this nice weather we are having. I went to Michaels today with my daughter and got some new "stuff", and bought the most beautiful butterfly, can't wait to go stamp it right after I finish this post. Today's card is a stamp from a set of all bug stamps by Clear Art Stamps. Now, you know I am not a fan of clear stamps, I like rubber and wood, but I saw this guy online while browsing and sent for it. It is small, only about two inches and so are the rest of the stamps on the sheet, which is about the size of a half sheet of paper. With shipping, it was $ 30.00. Yikes, I think that is high for unmounted, non-rubber stamps. But, I have to admit he's cute. The flower centers are buttons from my button collection. Paper is by Magenta. Thanks for stopping by today. Until later.................Sunday, June 14, 2009

Celebrate Friends

Hi, hope your weekend is starting out great. Nice weather today, despite looking like rain early on. Still trying to track a leak in the pond........it's a mystery. I think I have moved just about every rock around the pond by now to no avail. Rick went early this morning to watch our grandkids play outdoor soccer. Both of them won their games. This is Megan's first time playing, so it is a learning experience for her. Michael has played indoor in the winter, but first time playing outdoor. Did laundry in between stamping (feels less guilty if you're doing two things) Today's card is for the Penny Black challenge. The challenge is to make a card celebrating something. This card celebrates friends. The background sunflowers were cut from a sheet of designer paper I got in a package at Big Lots. I love the sentiment, a great lesson for all of us. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day. Until later......Friday, June 12, 2009

Little Birdhouse Cards.
Will also hold a gift card or cash in the pocket.

These are the three pieces of cardstock you'll need and the measurements. Stamp small image and dab ink around it.

Hi. It's finally Friday. Hope your having a great day. I made these little birdhouse cards and thought I would put the directions on here. They are so cute and you can also put cash or a gift card in the pocket. These are great little gift cards. Would be cute to tie on a gift bag. Thanks for stopping by. Until later...............

Mr. and Mrs.

Hi. Happy Hump Day! Sun shining even though it's still cool here. Today's card is my first clear acetate card. It's hard to photograph. The clear acetate sheet is tinted light blue with white dots. I made the cake with pieces cut from shimmery pearl white cardstock run through a cuddlebug embossing folder. Flowers are made from a punch from Martha Stewart. You can't see it, but I put stickles on the embossed area of the cake. Made this special card for a wedding in July for the daughter of a dear friend. Hope your having a great day. Thanks for stopping by. Until later............Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Beautiful Flower
Hi. Hope your Tuesday is going well. The pond fish are spawning. Not supposed to happen until it gets warmer, but a lot of activity in the pond. Have not seen the tadpoles since we put them in the pond, so I guess we won't miss them if they leave when they become frogs. The water lilies have all started to bloom. If there is no rain tomorrow, I will take a picture of the pond gang and post it. Today's card is a stamp by either Stamp Camp or Beeswax. Bought it as convention unmounted and didn't keep track of whose stamp it is. It's a beautiful flower and leaves. Words are by My Sentiments Exactly. Thanks for stopping by. Until later............Monday, June 8, 2009
RED, WHITE AND BLUE

Hi. Happy Monday, hope you're having a great start to the week. It's cool and raining here today, and supposed to get rain the next four days, but that usually changes by the hour in NY. Today's card is for the Monday House Mouse Challenge. The challenge was to use Red, White and Blue. Click on the link on the right side to the House Mouse Challenge and see the design
team cards for this challenge. Everyone of them is so nice, I think you will enjoy seeing them.
Have a nice rest of the day. Thanks for stopping by. Until later................
