Bags full of Goodies

Hi everyone, I'm out running around again today.  I just wanted to show you some things I put together for my local stamp store to display for the holidays.

I'm back with some other ideas for using the large Memory Box dies I used on the cards a couple of posts ago.

This is the label type die, folded in half. Stamp is Penny Black. The spiral shaped die is also Memory Box. Snowflake is a punch by Martha Stewart. Goodies in the bag, Chocolate covered popcorn.

This is also the label type die cut from Memory Box folded in half. Paper is Echo Park. I used distress in to sponge the edges, Ranger Festive Berries, limited edition for Christmas. Snowman is made using two heart punches and a small circle punch, ran through the paisley cuttlebug embossing folder.

This is the scalloped edged die folded in half.

The stamp is by . The flower embellishment is from BSS, by the yard.

Sentiment is from Inkadinkado. Goodies in the bag, White Trash, google it, there are many variations.

This is the label type die again, from Memory Box, folded in half. The paper is from BSS. The bird, branch, and the red corner piece are all dies from Memory Box. Goodies in the bag, peppermint sticks with white chocolate toppers.

This is the scalloped edged die cut by Memory Box, folded in half. The stamp and sentiment are from Darcies. Paper is SEI. Die cut frame is Spellbinders. Silver Ribbon. Goodies in bag, Peppermint sticks with white chocolate toppers.

This is the labels type die from Memory Box, folded in half lengthwise. The deer is a Sizzix die cut.

The spiral die is Memory Box with a snowflake punched from a Paper Shapers punch. Gold Ribbon around the deer's neck. Goodies in bag, peppermint sticks with dark chocolate toppers.

The last two items are cones made from a nine inch square of paper folded into a cone. I used decorative scissors to trim the top and right side of the square prior to folding. Hold the piece of paper like a diamond shape in front of you and bring the two side points together and keep folding until a cone is formed. I used a low heat glue gun for best and fastest seal.

Paper is from K and Co. Ornament die is Memory Box, with white glittered paper behind it.

Snowflake is Spellbinders with Stampendous Shabby Pink Embossing enamel.

Goodies in cone, Gingerbread boy cookies.

Paper is K & Co. The die cut is from Memory Box, Flowering Christmas Tree.(98195)

Goodies in cone, white trash.

. Hope you have enjoyed these samples

and you got at least one new idea for the holidays.

Angel

WOW, spent the last two days running around shopping, and I'm POOPED!  Half the problem is I don't know what to buy anyone!  Does everyone already have too much "stuff"?  And, does everything seem to cost twice as much as it did last year?  And I like Christmas and all that goes with it, but it is discouraging out there.  Want to finish up shopping and wrapping so I can concentrate on getting my house decorated and cookies baked.

Today's card is for the challenge at Penny Black and Friends Saturday # 180, Total White-Out!
Only the image can be colored, everything else on the card must be white.

My Card Recipe

Stamp - Penny Black
All White card stock, run through embossing folders, snowflake and star.
Stars cut from Sizzix die out of glitter foam sheet
Kaiser pearls
Image colored with Copic Markers
Lace from Walmart
Pearl Clusters, Reflections from Michael's
White organza ribbon
Sponged the edges of the layers ever so lightly with light blue ink.
Star Dust Stickles

Hope your Wednesday was wonderful.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until later...........

BSS MONDAY IDEA - DIE CUT ORNAMENT CARD

Welcome to another Monday Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

This week's card idea, is the use of this ornament die cut from Memory Box. There are two die cuts, one for the solid part of the ornament and one for the cut out part. I didn't have the solid one, so I just cut out solid pieces to match the cut out ones.

My Card Recipe
Stamps - Snowflakes - Martha Stewart snowflake set
Papers - Me and My Big Ideas
Gold mirror paper for the ornament cutouts
Red mirror paper for the inside of one ornament
Glitter paper for the other two
Gold ribbon
I tapped Versafine watermark ink around the edge of the paper
and embossed with Powder Keg Sparkling Ice Embossing Powder
The die cut "Deck the Halls" is from Sizzix and came in a set including that die and
the Reindeer (657290). It's also cut with mirror gold paper.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope everyone isn't getting too stressed about Christmas!
Until later...............

THE MITTEN

Where did the week go?  Hard to believe that Christmas is only 24 days away!  I'm feeling so unprepared this year.  I think I got more done when I worked and sooner.  Perplexed about what to buy everyone too.  Kids are getting bigger, so buying for them is harder, oh so much easier when they were little....

I made this gift tag by tracing the mitten from one of those large foam stamps.  You could also use a coloring book with large images, google mitten shape and see what you get, might find something that way too.

The snowflake paper is DCWV Winter Magic Stack. Both the snowflake border and the Snowflake are die cuts from Memory Box.  I sponged the edges with Ranger distress Iced Spruce (limited edition Christmas colors (3) and they are NOT making reinkers for them! I made the back of the mitten a pearl blue matching paper and stamped Merry Christmas and To and From with Versafine watermark ink and embossed in white.  Silver ribbon for attaching to a gift.  You could easily make this a gift card Holder.

This delightful little snowman is a candy bar wrapper.  I measured the candy bar and cut a piece of gold paper to wrap around the bar.  I trimmed the top with decorative scissors.

The three circles were cut with Marvey punches, but you could just make different sized circles with die cuts or trace anything that is round and cut out. The faces were made by adding eyes and mouth and button with a pencil eraser, just use the eraser end of a pencil like a stamp.  The carrot nose was hand drawn and colored with Copics.  I ran the circles through a snowflake embossing folder (Darice), sponged the edges with Broken China distress ink (Ranger).  Cheeks sponged with pink ink.  Added a punched elongated heart from glitter paper and some eyelash gold yarn for his scarf.  I am making 20 of these for my daughter's first grade class for Christmas.

Have a great rest of the evening.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until later.....

TRIM THE TREE

I'm trying to make Christmas cards, now that it's crunch time!  I must confess, I bought a couple of boxes of cards while I was out shopping on Black Friday.  Seems every year I think I am going to make all my cards, but it just does not happen.  The cards that I blog are too embellished to mail, I use them for people I am going to give a gift to so I can hand deliver them.  I must work on making cards that can be mailed with a regular postage stamp......can make that my New Year's resolution, along with losing weight and getting more organized, my standard ones.........

Here's where you put your sunglasses on, because this card has bling!

Today's card is for the challenge at Penny Black and Friends Saturday Challenge #179, and the challenge is to use Christmas+Red+Embossing.

My card recipe

Stamp - Penny Black - Simply Ornamental
The red and white striped paper is a die.  I used it at my local
stamp store.  This is a5x7 inch card, so it is a big die.  I will find out who makes them
and update this post.
The Christmas tree is holographic foil which I embossed.
and the gold star garland, both from the dollar store.
The stars where cut using a sizzix die, then I ran them through an embossing folder.
Stamped the sentiment and embossed with white embossing powder on red mirror paper.
Colored the image with Copic Markers

I'm also entering this card in the following challenges:
Pile it on Challenge - Sugar and Spice
Totally Paper Crafts #94 - Christmas
Simply Create Too #1 - Christmas

Have a great Hump Day.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until later.....

BSS MONDAY IDEA

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.

TODAY, WE ARE GOING TO LOOK AT THE RESULTS OF USING THE NEW HERO ARTS HOLLY STAMP AND MATCHING SIZZIX EMBOSSING FOLDER SET.

This is how I used this great set.
On the green paper. I stamped the holly/swirl stamp using Versafine watermark ink only, then embossed using clear embossing ink. I then ran it through the matching Sizzix embossing folder.
On the white card stock, I inked the stamp with Adirondack, Meadow green ink. I then used a small corner of a baby wipe to remove the green ink from the berries. Using a water based marker, I colored the berries with bright red. I then stamped and when the ink was dry, ran it through the matching Sizzix embossing folder.

On the inside of the card, I just inked the stamp with the same Meadow green ink.
Added a sentiment by Wordsworth on white card stock and sponged around the
edges with the same ink.

My card recipe:

Stamp - Holly - Hero Arts, with matching Sizzix embossing folder set
Winter Marci by LA LA Land
Red dotted ribbon.
Snowflake die by Memory box (outside of card)
Snowflake punch, Martha Stewart (inside of card)
Green ink, Adirondack Meadow green
White glittered flower soft on the hat and pocket of the coat
Red sparkly Stickles added to the berries.
Marci, colored with Copic Markers

These Hero Art stamps and Sizzix embossing folder sets come in holiday and non- holiday designs. Love the look it creates, hope you can see the embossing in the picture.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Enjoy your Monday.  Until later............
