SWEET VALENTINE I LOVE YOU

Hello, away from the computer almost all day today.  Went to my local stamp store for some retail therapy and then to Michael's.  Got some new papers and stamps YAHOO!

Today's card is a new Magnolia stamp, isn't she just so cute.  The card is featured on Split Coast Stampers this week, it's in the resources section, Word Card.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - A VALENTINE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE RED

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Today, I thought I would show you that a beautiful Valentine, DOES NOT  have to be RED!

Started with a blue pearlescent card stock. My card measures 5 1/2x11.

Score at 51/2 and fold to a 5 1/2 inch square card. Score again at 2 3/4 inches on the front panel.

Fold from right to left to form a three panel card.

I decorated my card with the beautiful Cheery Lynn  Heart to Heart Doily die. I used the inside on the front panel, the outside on the third panel (it's all one die). Papers are Graphic 45, Conservatory 6x6 inch pad.

Punched border on the front is by Martha Stewart. Heart stamp on front is

Lockhart Stamp Company.(2056)

The center panel has punched hearts and the same border punch across the top and bottom was used.

The sentiment is B-Line Design (HF209C)

QUEEN BEE

Bet everyone is getting ready for the weekend.  Super Bowl Weekend.  We are having a shower in our family on Sunday at noon, but will be home in time for the game if that's your thing, or escape to the craft room if not!

Today's card is for the challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show. The theme this week is Kings and Queens.

I chose this old stamp by All Night Media (Mary Englebreit) of the Queen Bee, isn't she cute!

The background and flower stamps are Studio 490.  The Vine is a Sizzix die.  Base card is Bazzill

pale yellow.  Ranger Distress inks used, broken china, wild honey and vintage photo.  The little bees are a dollar stamp from Michael's. Flower border is EK Success.

A Little Wine

I love this digi, by Whimsie Doodles!

Hi, just a quick post to show you some wine bottle toppers I have been working on for a shower our family is having on Sunday. We are going to use these as door prizes.  I absolutely love the digi of the dog by Whimsie Doodles.  I bought several cute digi's, and they all came with great sayings, but this one was my favorite.

The bathing suit babe is a stamp by Loralie Designs, some great gal stamps!

And the kitty in the bra is a Penny Black.

Hope you had a great Thursday.  We got water in the basement yesterday when the sump pump failed and we didn't know it, so we have spent the better part of two days down there cleaning up, YUCK!

The good news is we are getting the basement cleaned out.

PURRFECT VALENTINE

Well, it's February 1st, already!  And it's hump day!  Seems like I just got the Christmas decorations all put away and it's February already!  Time flies whether you're having fun or not!
