BSS IDEA - Daffodils

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Hello friends, hope all you Mom's had a wonderful

Mother's Day.

I was at BSS on Saturday and got to see what had 

come in recently.  The store is jam packed with

goodies, and lots of great classes.  We are so

fortunate to have a local stamp store, and my blogging

friends are all so jealous that we do!

Colored with Copics

A simple slimline card, but a beautiful stamp.

I colored it up and fussy cut it out twice and

popped up the second one.

Happy Mother's Day 

We attended a nice breakfast with our daughter and son-in-law this morning

and they brought me a beautiful Fuchsia hanging plant for the patio that the hummingbirds

love to come to.  I have had one of these plants each year for as long as I can

remember, so very pretty.

Playing again with my Lavinia Stamps.

Tulip Delight

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Hello friends

Another week has passed. They seem to go so

quickly,  which I attribute to my craft rooms.

Always a couple of project going at a time to

keep me busy.  

Do you love Tulips?

Well if you do, your going to love this!

This Week's card.

The inside

This card was made with the new Altenew Tulip 3D Embossing Folder.

I ran a 6x6 piece of white card stock in the folder through my die cutting machine.

I colored the tulips different colors with copics, and cut each one out.

OR, YOU COULD chose different colors for the tulips and place a small piece

of colored card stock on each tulip in the folder and again run it through.

 I ran a green piece of card stock through for the leaves and stems.

I then fussy cut out each tulip and stem and leaves.

Lastly I glued the flowers and leaves and stems to a slightly

 trimmed piece of 6x6 inch  light blue card stock, which I had

run through my die cutting machine using 

the tulip 3D embossing folder.

The blue card stock piece was glued to a 6x6 inch piece of

silver holographic paper (DCWV 6x6 pad)

 and attached to a 6x6 inch white card.

I cut  one additional tulip,leaf and stem for the inside.

The inside sentiment is from A Spellbinders Spring Quotes (STP-026)

The bee charm is from BSS-Tell the Bees, Hackney & Co.

The butterfly stamp is an older stamp from my stash.

Sea Life

Hello friends.  I have been playing with my Lavinia stamps, some I have had

for awhile, and lots of new ones.  I watched some recent videos and

got a lot of different ideas, from some very talented ladies.

I made a card using some of their techniques.  Will improve with

some more practice.  It's messy and time consuming, but fun.

BSS IDEA - Butterfly Delight

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Hello friends.

A fun fold card for you today.

I found this card design online and just loved it immediately.

The link to the directions and demo of how to make it

are HERE.

For the butterfly I used an older butterfly die, but

if you don't have one, you can use a stamp of

a butterfly and fussy cut it out, or even a designer

paper with butterflies and cut one out.  AND

it could be anything you want, doesn't have to be

a butterfly. Just remember it has to fit through

the die cute hole you create.

Butter Yellow Cardstock

Designer Paper is from a Pad from Poland

called Sunshine by Joanna Ossowska

that I purchased at BSS. It's a 6x8 pad and

every sheet of paper is beautiful.

Oval dies - Waffle Flower Nesting Oval dies

Glitter Paper and Stickles on Butterfly

Sentiment is a very old stamp, but I just

love what it says.

I left this card pretty simple, but you could add 

some ribbon or gems to dress it up.

Finished card is 41/4x5 1/2 inches.
