Mermaid

CLOSE UP OF IMAGE

FRONT OF CARD

INSIDE

Hello, another record breaking HOT day!  Supposed to rain tomorrow and cool down.  Can't wait!!

Today's card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC#61).  The mermaid is a stamp I purchased unmounted a long time ago and I have no idea whose stamp it is.  I used glossy white card stock for the ovals and colored them using the polished stone method, that is Ranger Alcohol inks pounced on the paper until you get the desired effect.  I was going for water so I used green and turquoise blue.  The seashells are from a larger stamp by Peddlers Pack.  On the inside I used the same stamp and words that I am also unable to identify the stamp company.  Lots of glitter and stickles and of course Kaiser pearls.

Hope you had a great Thursday.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until later............

This is an awesome card, Sue! You achieved a great affect with the marble technique (I love this technique!) Love the mermaid and shells too! Great job with the sketch this week!

Just love this one Sue - the scene you've created is fabulous - and the simple stamp on the inside finishes it off beautifully

Okay, Sue, I'm speechless on this incredible BEAUTY! Now, if you knew me like others on the team do, you would know that's it's practically impossible to ever see me speechless!! That means, I'm totally in LOVE with your card. The colors are so captivating and the "feel" of the water overtakes me. Wonderful image too. A real winner, this one is!! That sounded like Yoda if you ever heard the way he does his phrasing. LOL!

Thanks SO MUCH for joining us in The Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge and I really hope you will share your unique talent with us again next week!
