BSS MONDAY IDEA - DOUBLE DUTCH FOLD CARD

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Today's idea is to make a Double Dutch Fold Card.
There is a great tutorial here

This card opens from the bottom up and also has two small dutch doors that open like a gate fold at the bottom.

This view shows the inside of the card with the front of the card folded over and the
two small doors opened.

A close up of the oval cut from an embossed piece using a new embossing folder by Crafts Too.

Card Recipe:

Stamps - Alex in the Snow with Puppies, Stampavie (WDS711) Tina Wenke
Inside Sentiment - Whipper Snapper Designs (IW860)
All papers - DCWV Winter Magic
Sparkly die cut - Spellbinders
Die cut with image on it and inside oval with sentiment - Nellie Snellen
Snowflake border, and punched snowflakes, Martha Stewart
Punched oval with snow scene from embossing folder is painted with a light coat
of Ice Crystal Glamor Dust, by DecoArt
Image colored with Copic Markers

This is a pretty easy card to put together, and fun to decorate.
Hope you have a chance to try it.

Thanks for stopping by for a peek.  Have a great Monday.  Until later......

Sue, This card is simply beuatiful. Love that image and I'm going to have to check into getting some of that Deco Art Ice Crystal as well as a new embossing folder. Thank you for the link to the tutorial. I somehow missed your Baby It's Cold Outside card, but I just saw it now and I LOVE it. The sentiment sounds just like one I HAVE to have.
