WOLVES IN SNOW

WOW, we had some really heavy rain and high winds yesterday.  Took the snow away, but some people lost power and some trees came down.

Today's card is for a new challenge called Craft a Scene and this is their very first challenge. The theme is Anything Goes.  I love scene stamping, I took several classes some years ago from Kevin at Stampscapes, and then taught scene stamping at my local stamp store.  But, kinda got away from it, but still have drawers filled with stamps for just this purpose, so I'm thinking I'm going to enjoy this New Challenge.

My Card Recipe:

Stamps - Snuggling Wolves - Coronado Island Stamps, Sentiment-Paula Best
Papers - Stamped on white glossy card stock.  Card base, Winter Magic DCWV
Green, Black and White Card stock mats
Snowflakes - Cuttlebug die, white glitter paper
Rhinestones - Kaiser
Sponged and brushed color with Marvy Matchables and Tombow markers
Sharpie White Poster pen, snow

I love wolves.  We have visited several places where they house wolves and have seen them up close and personal, fascinating animals.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great Tuesday.  Until later..............

Sue, I absolutely adore this card. I love how it looks like we have a little glimpse into their life - realy breathtaking! I went to the University of New Mexico and our mascot is the Lobo which is a type of wolf so they have always interested me. This pair is beautiful. TFS and I love the music on your blog! Hugz.

Sue, sounds like we started around the same time. Love to see you come back to scenic stamping and get all those Stampscapes out of mothballs. I bet you could show us a thing or two. Wonderful image and card! Thanks for joining our first challenge at Craft a Scene. NancyD

Wow!! You have incredible talent Sue! Your scene is so peaceful and you've done a fabulous job colouring the wolves and bringing them to life. Don't put your scenic stamps away!! We would love to see your additions to challenges in the future.
Wolves are a very misunderstood creature. The human race needs to stop and smell the roses before we lose them all.
Thanks for playing along with us at Craft A Scene for our very first challenge!
