WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.
Today's idea involves getting those alcohol inks out and dusting them off!
I first cut out a piece of white glossy card stock that my main image would fit on.
Then, using Butterscotch and Lettuce Alcohol Inks by Ranger, I added a few drops of each color randomly on the felt pad of the blending tool and pounced around the piece of card stock until I liked the coverage, leaving some white areas. Then, spray some blending solution by Ranger on the felt pad and pounce around the card stock, lightening and blending the colors, until you like the results.
Next, I stamped my image (Delicate Florals 40-103 Penny Black) in black Momento Ink. I colored in just the leaves with a green Copic Marker. Lastly, I stamped the script stamp (1999L-Letter Background, by Penny Black) with Versafine Watermark Stamp Pad and embossed with white
embossing powder. That's it. Mount your piece with a coordinating color mat.
Close up of image. I added this to a white 5x7 card base, with a yellow textured card stock mat
43/4 by 63/4 and a gold ribbon trim. Left this card simple to show off the beautiful image.
Hope you have a chance to try this technique. Try different colors while using the alcohol inks and the over stamp of the words.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great Monday. Until later...........
