Today's card is for a dear friends Dad who has had a Stem Cell Transplant. Very scary stuff, and a long recovery. He is doing well, better than anyone expected, with a recent hiccup having trouble swollowing and eating. We want to wish him well on his long road to recovery, so I made this cute card, my friend assures me her Dad has a wicked sense of humor!!
A really simple card for mailing. Image is a Stampin Up stamp.
Papers are from a Reflections Paper pack that I got for Mother's Day from
my daughter along with some other new stamping supplies and a beautiful nighty!
Corners are a Paper Shapers punch. Border is Martha Stewart.
Colored with Copics.
I wanted to share some happy news with you. If you follow my blog, you know that in January we lost our precious Keeshond (our little Dutch girl), Keeley. We have decided to get a puppy, and began our search for a breeder. This breed is hard to find in our area, so it took some time to find
someone. We were placed on a waiting list for the next available puppy, and on Monday night we received a call that our puppy has been born. We are expecting to receive pictures of the
litter in the mail in the next couple of days! We are very excited and can't wait to get this
new fur baby. We haven't had a puppy in so many years, I just hope that this old couple
is up to this young one, but we sure are looking forward to having an animal in the house again, we have sorely missed our girl. Will share the pictures from the breeder with you when we get them!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great Thursday. Until later...........

I wish him better days, and long life.
The card is absolutely adorable, and very well colored.
I sure think it will raise man's spirit up)
OMGosh I haven't seen this stamp for so long, I remember making a get well card with it. Love yours and hope your friends Dad has a speedy recovery!
Part of me thinks you are going nutso getting a PUPPY! But then again, I am sure I would get a new pup too! We must be crazy broads LOL!
That is just the best image. Love how you made the fancy blue doo dah strip with your Martha punch. Okay, now I am going to bed, silly tired!
Gorgeous card and I love the fun image...
Well now, you are just full of news. first let me say that the card is just perfect for a guy with a good sense of humor. Speedy Recovery, sir. Next, my reaction was the same as Sue from Oregon's. Our first Lab was so laid back and easy. When she passed we swore "Not Again". Well now here we are with a 4 yr. old, and love her to pieces. She is just so different from our first. Sheds 3x more, needs a routine stuck to, and has issues in a kennel if we need to go away. Just not sure I can do it again after this one. As I say that, I must also say I though of getting her a friend to help her work through her issues. LOL! Best of luck to you and your new fur baby. Can't wait to meet her/him!
What a gorgeous card Sue.
