Hi friends. Thank goodness it's Friday! I made a Christmas card today for the woman breeder that we bought out puppy from in July. She has been breeding Keeshond dogs for 27 years and she is only in her 40's.
Since it is our puppies first Christmas, I had a little photo session with her this evening by the Christmas tree also, so I could send her a picture.
Hard to believe that she looked like this when we brought her home in July.
The stamp was a gift from a friend. Cardstock is The Paper Studio.
Colored with Copic Markers. Red mirror paper mat. Flower and ivy is K&Company.
The sentiment is Printworks. Ribbon from my stash.
I used sparkly embossing powder over the entire image to make the card more festive for the holidays.
This is the puppy just seven months later. She is beautiful, but like all
puppies, she is so bad!! Can't wait for her to mature some.
Have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by today. Until later..............

OMG Sue, that sentiment is just perfect for that bad little beauty. That's so much for sharing these pictures of Keeya. She was and still is so gorgeous. It's hard to believe that adorable head can think up so many ways to get into trouble, but I know she works overtime at it. Trouble or not there is no better thrill than watching them in action, or better still when they are sleeping. That image on your card is just precious and you really did a wonderful job by embossing the entire image. Love the ivy, ribbon just everything about it. Enjoy the weekend and pass along my kisses please.
Puppies are adorable, but they have a lot of explaining to do to Santa this year. That stamp is perfect for you.
Sue, thanks for the info on the postcard stamp & the sentiment. Will have a look at Michaels when I'm in the city next week but we don't have Hobby Lobby here in Canada (keep crossing my fingers though)but we go to Arizona for 2 mths. in Feb/Mar so will check out the papers then. Probably not much Xmas stuff around by then! Your puppy is adorable. I know what you mean about the "bad" stage...we had a black lab & I swear she didn't develop a brain until she was about 3 yrs. old! Keeshounds aren't very common dogs...we had friends with one "Kaisar" who was an absolute beauty! Enjoy...mischeif & all!
Hugs, Renee
oops, almost forgot...yes, I painted the ornaments. I too used to do alot of painting but since getting into stamping I only paint a few decorations for friends at Christmas time.
