Umbrella Girl

Hi friends.  Scheduling this post so that we can get up early and head out to our local farmer's market.  Want to get some Apples, bumper crop I hear this year compared to a very poor outcome last year.

I loved this stamp as soon as I saw it.  Kinda how we dressed when I was a child, although I never had a beautiful umbrella like this.

Inkadinkado Stamp

A simple card.  Used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder made
of metal that cuts the frame out and embosses at the same time.
Prima flowers and leaves, Kaiser Pearls, colored with Copics,
Edges sponged with Marvy light blue ink.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.  Until later..............

Hello Sue, this is a beautiful card with such a pretty image. Lovely colouring too. I love how you have embossed and die cut the apature, which is a lovely shape.

it's just dawned on me that your blog picture is Niagra Falls especially as you live near them. I don't know whether you have heard of Chorus Niagra, but they came across to Scotland in May to perform and came up to Inverness to join the Inverness Choral Society and sing Carmina Buranna. I sing in the Choral, what a wonderful performance it was and what a marvellous choir Niagra is, they were all such lovely folk too. Mr. Cooper their musical director is so inspiring and so charismatic.
Anyway Sue, sorry waffling on here, but thought you might know and have heard them.
enjoy the Farmer's Market, hugs Kate X

sure this card is stunning. Yes we did dress like that in the "god ole days" but I did not have a pretty umbrella like that one either. I love the frame with the pearls and the blue to help bring everything out. I hope you get a good bunch of apples today. We are planning on going tomorrow. Oh I am dying for a homemade apple pie (even just the smell of it cooking). YUM. Enjoy your day.

Beautiful and nostalgic. My Mom had a thing for umbrellas and she always bought me beautiful ones but she got so mad at me because I broke a couple over some stupid boys heads.

Beautiful card sweetie!
