THE LOOK OF LOVE

Good morning, sun is shining, but crisp this morning.  I am taking a short break from painting in the kitchen.
It's going to look nice when it is finished, but I am sick of painting, but it has been awhile since we did it, so onward and upward, right!

I started this card a couple of nights ago and put the finishing touches on it today.  I made it for the challenge at Squigglefly.  It's #44 (SFC4413) and the theme is "It's hip to be square.

I chose this precious image from Squigglefly by Artist Lynne Stansbery.  I absolutely
love this artists work, these images color themselves!  Can you see the love in the child AND
pups eyes?

Card Recipe

Kept it pretty simple, wanted this image to be center stage it is
so powerful!

Papers - K and Company, Linen Closet
Prima Flowers
Border is Martha Stewart
Turquoise card stock mat
Colored with Copics

Ok, I'm off to the kitchen to paint.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later............

Let's see painting the kitchen or coloring images?????? tough choice. I'm glad to see you are organized enough to do both. I'm hoping we get to see pictures of your kitchen when it is done, but it can't be a cute as this gorgeous image with the fabulous coloring you did. It is just a beautiful card. I think you made the right decision to keep it simple so as not to deter from that image.

Sue, you may think the image colors itself, but your shading and coloring are amazing! I am enchanted! So pretty, and yes, a simpler card was the right choice, even tho it is not all that terribly simple LOL At least you had sunshine to keep you company painting the kitchen. That's good. So what color? Or are you going to share before and after photos? I hope so. Keep on going! Eventually, it will be all done. hugs, de

Sue this is fabulous! I love the spray of flowers in the corner. Super coloring on this too! Painting is a drag, but I know you'll love it when it's done! Thanks for playing in Squigglefly's challenge this week!

Whoo Hoo this is prettttttyyyy. Great coloring GF. I love Lynn Sansbury's digis also. Besides, who can resist a dog with a little girl. Not me! So what color are you painting the kitchen? I have to remove all my wall paper and then paint so I am going to make it a after Christmas project. Hopefully 2014 LOL. It is blue and white now but I am trying to decide on a soft yellow like a Y21 or Y23 or a sage green like a YG61 or a G40. Everything in my life centers around Copics. Help me to decide.
