LET IT SNOW - MAN

Hi friends.  I'm getting back into my stamp room after a 10 day visit from a long time friend
from Austin, Texas.  We met when our husbands were in the military and have remained friends all these years.  We ate, we drank, we laughed, we cried, so many great times with each other and our families and lots of memories made.

I am always on the lookout for a new (to me) card design.  My niece told me about
a card she made and loved, so I went looking for it on YouTube. Could not wait to make
one.

The front of the card.

Partially opened.

Fully opened.

I pulled these old adorable snowmen and lady out of the snowman
drawer, many have not seen ink in a very long time.  Papers
are by The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).  Colored with Copics.

The link to the video is HERE
http://www.maymaymadeit.com/blogs/news/twist-pop-up-card-the-easiest-way-i-could-figure-out

Amy Helms takes you through the making of this card one step at a time,
in clear, easy to follow directions.

She also has a written supply list just below the video and measurements
for the three pieces you will need to make this card.

I tweaked the instructions a little bit with the decorating and size
of the card, but the mechanism that makes this card work is the
important part.  AND, full of other possibilities.

That's it for me today.  Have a wonderful Sunday.
Thanks for stopping by today.  Until later.............

Love love love each one of your adorable snowmen - that RB image is AWESOME! Sue, I always admire your use of color, and this creation is not disappointing! You have such a way with combining brightness and happiness! The title of your blog post is really cute! remember when the word "man" was included in a teenager's speech? LOL Thank you for the link to the tutorial. Is your card larger? I don't make A2 cards, and wondered what size yours is. If it is larger, did you happen to write down your measurements for future use? If so, would you mind sharing? LOL LOL Thanks for letting me know you have neglected stamps, too, and that you still enjoy using them. For me, the older the stamp, the more endearing it is. LOL hoping you enjoy a lovely week ahead! xo

Visits with old friends are always so much fun! Glad you two had some quality time together. Your card is adorable! I've seen this style card, but haven't yet given it a try. You are braver than I, my friend! Beautifully done, as always!
