BSS IDEA - ALCOHOL LIFT- INK

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

For this weeks idea, I pulled out the Alcohol Inks and The Alcohol Lift-Ink I had bought
and not used yet.  My inspiration was a video by Jennifer McGuire, which I have linked to
the word video, just click on it.

The cards are 5x7 inches. The mats are 43/4x63/4 inches.
The Imagine butterfly stamp set is Laurel Burch from
Stampendous (CR508) and includes the sentiment.
I used Yupo card stock from Tim Holtz and various colors of Alcohol
Inks.

The idea is using various alcohol inks on a piece of the Yupo cardstock
and getting a pattern you like, you let it dry thoroughly..
Then after it dries completely, you ink up your stamp with
the lift ink,and stamp the image/images.  Set this piece aside to dry, then wipe with
a soft rag or paper towel. Using a piece of regular cardstock,
immediately stamp the lifted image. Two completely different cards!

Please remember to clean the stamp thoroughly after the lifted ink
stamping and before stamping into the lift ink pad or you will
contaminate the pad with color.

Hope you get to try this, it is addicting!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day, Until later...

The results of this is so impressive and I hope to try it out soon enough myself! I bought the ink pad when it came out, but sadly haven't had a chance to try it out yet!! What a fun play you had! Thanks for sharing!
