Snowman

Hello blogging friends.  Rough week here in the Buffalo, New York area.  We had
a foot of snow here in a northern suburb and the temperatures were below zero all
week.  Schools were closed for the last three days.  The Thruway and some
main arteries were also closed.  So since we are retired we just hunkered down
except to clear snow and stayed warm. I made soup and baked cookies.
Both my daughter and son-in-law are
teachers and kids are in college, so everyone was home too.

So, I bought this Whimsy snowman stamp (Candle Light) SZWS193) back
in early December and never got the chance to color it up and make a card.
This week seemed like a great time to do just that!!!

Paper - Glitter white,Gray and green card stock, and designer paper BOBunny
Evergreen tree die unknow, Wooded trees die, Gina Marie
White card stock base, card is 51/2x51/2 inches square.
Colored with Copics

Thanks for stopping by today,  have a good day, Until later....

You know it's cold when the snowman needs a fire. Love this cute image and the card you made.

On a personal note.........OMG........it's freezing up there. Thank the Lord y'all don't have to get out. I think about people that do and I feel bad for them.

We have houses in Florida for sale, but in NE Florida we got to 29 this week. We don't do cold very well. Now I hear next week we are going to have a record high of 80.

Hi Sue, absolutely love your sweet snowman and his Wintry scene, it's gorgeous.
My goodness, that's a real amount of snow you have. We are escaping the snow, not much at all at low level, but the mountains are amazing. England is getting more snow than us, but our temp are low, around 15 minus in some of the glens. Wise to stay in and hunker down, keep cosy, Kate x

Gosh, Sue, your weather sounds like even the snowmen need something to keep themselves warm! Hence, your amazingly appropriate card - the silvery trees, the candle's glow reflected off your snowman's face, the darling little birdies huddling nearby all so sweet. It's a gorgeous scene, and so pretty - one that I'd prefer seeing on your cards, and not here in person LOL Stay warm! hugs, de
