Succulents

Hello blogging friends.  We saw the sun today!!  Has been missing in action
lately, felt so good.  But, high winds predicted for the weekend again...ugh.
We have two large old Horse Chestnut trees in our front yard and always worry
 about them in high winds.

Five beautiful young deer were feeding across the street in the field this morning.
Of course, we were alerted by the watch dog and she came begging for us to
come see.  We watched them for quite awhile before they moved on.

I bought this stamp several weeks ago, and last night I sat for an hour and
enjoyed coloring it up.  I went online to see what colors succulents came in
and was surprised by the beautiful colors and pleased that I could add
some bright colors to my card as opposed to making them all a different
color green.

Stamps - Stampendous -Succulents (6CR012)
Inside sentiments - Stampendous (CRW199)
Cardstock -  Stampin Up - Pool Party, Reflections (Michaels) Aqua

Off to do some more coloring (therapy)

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a nice weekend, Until later....

Hi Sue, We have at least two different kinds of deer here, but you wouldn't get close enough to feed them.

Hope your trees are ok. We have recently had Storm Freya pass over and some areas had damage, but the village was fine.

Sun out today, but an icy wind.

I love the card. The colours you have used really make each plant stand out.

Hope you have a lovely weekend. Hugs Sue

Oh, gosh. I see your weekend weather is going to be that great. At least you're seeing the sun.

Your card is beautiful. I love the pretty colors and the inside is great. I love that big sentiment. [Bunny]

Absolutely gorgeous Sue, it's a lovely image and your colours and colouring are wonderful. How lovely to see the deer feeding, and to have fine weather. We've had sleet showers today and it's bitterly cold, strange weather, so up and down, have a lovely weekend, Kate x x

What beautiful colourwork on the stamp. Beautiful stamp too. So the weather is not so nice. Ooo. Old horse chestnut trees? They can be so majestic. I know the feeling about the wind. Great weekend.
