LET IT SNOW

Hello friends.  We had 22-25 inches of snow on Wednesday and it
is still piled high because it is so cold here.  So thankful we have
a snow blower, as it took us 3 hours to dig our cars out and do the sidewalks. We live on a corner so we have sidewalks on two sides of our house.

So, I decided to dip into my large drawer full of snowmen stamps
this week and post one each day.  I love snowmen, and have a large
collection of beautiful stamps, so this should be fun.

It has been a long stressful week.
Our precious dog, Keeya got sick last weekend.  We ended up
taking her to our Vet two days and the next day to an Emergency
Veterinary Hospital, where she ended up spending the night.

So sad to leave her there, she looked at us when we were leaving
like your children do when they are scared.  Heartbreaking.

We picked her up the next day late afternoon.  She wasn't eating
and all the tests came back normal.  So off we went to a specialist
to do a sonogram of her stomach.  That also showed no
signs of anything major.  Meds were prescribed for infection
in her gut.  She has finally started to eat and today was a good
day, she was more like herself.  Scary, like when your children
were little and they couldn't tell you where it hurt.

On to my snowman card.

The snowman stamps are a very old set from Darcies.
Papers are from Paper Wishes (Hot off the Press)
Colored with Copics
Added various snowflakes from punches.
The sentiment is from the same set.

Hope I didn't bore you with our doggie saga, but it has
consumed us for the past week.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great Sunday.
Until later...........

A fun card Sue, a super snowman stamp.
I'm so sorry to hear that Keeya has been poorly, it's heartbreaking isn't it - I'm so glad it appears that she is on the mend.
Take care in all that snow, I don't think we've ever had that much, definitely not in the past 50 years!

So pleased to hear that Keeya is much better, it's so worrying as our pets can't tell us what's wrong.
Your card is soooo cute Sue, love the snowman image and lovely colouring too.
WOW, that's some amount of snow, we've had not all that much at all this year, some on the mountains, but it's not staying, keep cosy, Kate x

Sue,
Glad to hear you doggie is doing better. I totally get it! Our pets are family!

No snow here in Missouri but last week it was bitterly cold. Of course, today Kansas City is all decked out in red for the game against the Bills. I'm not really into football. My love is college basketball so may or may not watch the game.

Always enjoy your posts. Can't image 2 ft. of snow at once! We don't have snow removal equipment for that much snow so our schools would be closed for 3 days probably. Right now we have area schools closing because of covid. Too many teachers, bus drivers etc. are out sick and no substitutes are available so school districts have closed throughout the state. In many places teachers are not well enough to even try to do virtual so districts made the decision to close. Plus state aid is based on attendance and when so many kids are out, you lose state monies. No win situations.

Hope you and your husband stay healthy and that spring will come early this year.

Sue, I'm so happy to hear that your little one is doing better! It's so very hard indeed to see your pet suffer and have to leave them over night as I remember that feeling as well. You're so right. Sending hugs! Your snowman is super cute and I love your coloring with it as well!!
