"SWEET" DELICIOUS APPLES

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I dropped Rick at Therapy this morning and went to JoAnn's. Nothing much, just some small stuff. It's a small JoAnn's and they didn't carry half the stuff as our bigger JoAnn's ETC. We are supposed to get 2 to 4 inches of snow tonight, yuck. I am off to work tomorrow, so had to go down and get my boots back out and dust off my winter coat. Today's card is for the Monday House Mouse Challenge. The challenge was to use something on the card representing something SWEET! This is my take. The papers are from the The Sweet Stack by DCWV. I used my copier to copy the apple shape from the Sweet and Tangy set from Stampin Up, then just kept enlarging it until I got the size I wanted. Hope your enjoying your Monday. Until later............

HEARD YOU CAUGHT A BUG

Hershey Mini bars covered with a strip of paper. "Bugs" were cut using Cricut, Walk in My Garden cartridge.

Hi and thanks for stopping by. Instead of a card today, I thought I would show you this little project I did for two little guys on my Easter gift list. I purchased these little bug houses at AC Moore for $ 1.99 each (you can also get cute little bright colored plastic ones at the dollar stores)
I covered the roof with decorative paper and stamped with the Heard you caught a bug stamp .
The "bugs" in the first photo are Hershey mini bars covered with a strip of paper. The "bugs" were cut using my new Cricut and the Walk in My Garden cartridge. A little Easter grass and your all set. I added a name tag too. And when the candy is gone, my two fellows can get down to the business of catching some real bugs! What do you think? Didn't they turn out cute, and it's so much harder to make something cute for little boys, so I was really excited with these. Hope you're having a good Sunday, the sun is shining brightly today! Until later........

Easter Sunday Best

Yikes, I forgot to Blog this afternoon before I went to the game. Well, here it is. This pair of cuties are getting all spruced up for Easter Sunday. What a precious Penny Black image this is, and I made the card for the Saturday Penny Black Challenge. The papers are by Basic Grey. I bought the chip board tags yesterday at Big Lots for a dollar a package with lots in each package.
The Sabres lost tonight, and they are pretty much out of the playoffs, but it was still exciting to be at the game. Those are some really loyal fans they have there. Hope you had a good Saturday. Enjoy your Sunday, and thanks for stopping by. Leave a comment if you can. Until later............

BUNNIES AND FLOWERS

Hi, finally Friday! Took Rick to therapy today and then did some running around. The therapist said he is ahead of what he should be able to accomplish after just three days. He is doing the exercises faithfully three times a day, as prescribed. Now it is just a matter of healing and getting his strength back. Today's card is another beautiful stamp by Northwoods. Hope you had a great Friday. We are going to a Sabre's game tomorrow night, a Christmas gift from Heidi to her Dad. Michael's hockey All-star game is in the morning, he is phyched! Have a nice Saturday, and thanks for stopping by. Until later..........

COOL

Hi. I decorated this bag for the Monday House Mouse Challenge. What a great stamp! I thought I would use it for Megan's birthday on Easter Sunday. Rick is going to rehab therapy three days a week now. He's doing great and has exercises to do at home three times a day. He hasn't really experienced great pain, but the arm is weak. Glad to be on the road to recovery though. Was a beautiful day today, temps in the 60's. Hope you are having a great Thursday. Until later..........

TILDA AND LAMB

THE INSIDE
Hi, worked today then went to Rubber Stamp Club at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff. Was good to see the girls, and there were some new younger gals there, a nice crowd. Joyce led us through making a cute lion and a little girls dress card. Thanks Joyce. By the time I got home I was exhausted and took my shower and went to bed at 10:30. Today's card is a Magnolia stamp of Tilda with a Lamb. I love these little stamps and I just got an email from Sharon at BSS that she now has them in stock. The inside stamp is by Northwoods, I love what it says. Hope you had a great Wednesday. Until later..............

Easter Egg

Welcome in. I used one of those foam shapes to trace this egg. It had a center cutout, so worked perfect for this new Easter stamp I just got at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff. The stamp is by Northwoods Rubber Stamps, and I especially like it because it also has a sentiment. Rick had his doctor's appointment, and he wants him to leave the immobilizer on for the next two weeks. He does start therapy tomorrow though, so that is progress. He was a little disappointed, but he wants it to heal right, so he's willing to go the distance. Besides, the job jar is filling up by the day, so he knows when he can get back to normal, he has a lot of work ahead of him! Hope you have a great Wednesday. Until later...............
