Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
This week's idea is to angle the background paper. Do you always use one color background paper? Do you cut it in half if you use two different papers.
Try cutting it on an angle and aligning the two papers with a border between
the two.

Card Recipe
Stamp - Art Impressions-Flamingo Set (4192) inside
sentiment comes with the flamingo.
Papers - Green card stock run through the Darice diamond embossing
folder
Base card is hot pink card stock
Pink pearl card stock, traced the larges die in the set on the outside and
cut out with deckled edged scissors for a mat.
Designer papers are Authentique Seasons-Spring
Border punch - Martha Stewart
Colored with Copics
Added some fluffy pink feathers
Square rhinestones, Kaiser

Under the Sea

Another day.  Hope you are all well and enjoying your Wednesday.  I changed my
picture of Niagara Falls, they graced the Falls with blue lights to commemorate the birth of the new Prince....isn't it beautiful!

Today's card is for the challenge at Craft a Scene for July, the theme is Under the Sea.
I thought it would be fun to make a scene showing what was under the water and above the water.

Click on each image to see under the water better. In real life, you can see the sea life so much better.

This is the under the sea part!

Here is a close up of the scene.  Kids are early morning fishin'

A little bit farther back for perspective.

All of the stamps I used are pretty old, and probably not available anymore.
I used Marvey Matchables for sponging on color.  Stamped with black dye
ink on glossy white card stock.  Colored the fish and turtle and plant
with Tombow Markers.  Punched a circle in a piece of paper and used
the hole as a stencil for the sun.  Just sponged color and a darker tone around
the edge.  Clouds are made using a torn paper towel and sponge applicator.
brush upwards with the sponge applicator from the paper towel onto the card.
Move paper towel as you work downward so pattern isn't the same each time.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Enjoy your Wednesday.  Until later......

Hi friends, hope all is well with everyone!  Congrats to William and Kate on their new little boy, our friends in the U K are celebrating for sure.

My card today is for the July challenge at Penny Black and Friends Saturday Challenge.  I haven't done one of their challenges in a while and my PB stamps are feeling neglected.  It used to be the highlight of my Saturday morning to look to see what the new challenge was, prior to their going to a monthly challenge.  Saturday morning hasn't been the same since.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - WITH ONE STAMP

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.
Today's idea is to use one stamp three different ways for card making.
Do you sometimes get in a rut and make cards the same over and over, I think that happens to most of us.
I chose the stamp Leafy Vines (CG509) by Hero Arts.
Card #1

Stamps - Hero Arts Cling Happy Definition Birthday (CO269) (in the background)
and Hero Arts Cling Leafy Vines (CG509)
Paper - Two different colors of blue card stock
White card stock
Ink - Adirondack Earth tones Stonewashed
Punch - Martha Stewart- Both border and butterflies
Kaiser Pearls
Card is 5x7

Closeup of word stamp in the background.

Card #2

White and green card stock
Same stamp - Leafy Vines, Hero Arts
Spellbinders Grand Large Labels (LF-168)
Ink - Adirondack Earth tones Meadow
Circle and Scalloped circle punch Paper Shapers
Stamped the Large Labels cut in three sizes with the stamp
and popped them up onto each other
Inked the stamp and randomly stamped a white 5x7
card front in the same Meadow ink.
Adhered the green panels in the center. Tied a bow
using white organdy ribbon. Tied the sentiment to the center
of the bow.
Rhinestones in each corner on the bottom green panel.

White 5x7 card stock card
Dies - Spellbinder's 5x7 Elegant Labels 4 (S6-005)
Cut the second die in the set in black card stock
Leaving the frame around your cut card stock, ink
the Leafy Vines stamp with Versamark clear ink, and emboss
in white embossing powder.
Third die in the set is the label, ran ribbon through it
from my stash, and stamped and embossed the word Friend on the label.
For an extra pop, I cut the Memory Box Precious Hearts die (98474)
out in red glitter paper (two in the set, I used the smallest one)

This is a wonderful stamp and so versatile.
Thanks for stopping by today.
