Remember a few weeks back I did a Monday Idea post with an Uptown Girl

Stamp called Uptown girl Brigitte the bride? Well seems like Brenda and Brett beat her to the alter!

glitter paper. The smallest die in the set was used for the inside sentiment.

Happy Couple is fussy cut. Colored with Copics. Fine pink glitter

on ruffles of dress and shoes

Umbrella Tilda

Hi friends, quick post today.  We are doing some work in the house and it is all consuming.  Nearing the fun part, decorating! 

 

Today's card is a Magnolia Tilda with Umbrella.  I purchased several Magnolia stamps at a recent Stamp Show in our town from a vendor that was not going to carry them any longer and was offering them for half price!!

Ballerina Bear

Hi friends.  I think all is finally settled with google and blogger.  Last night I was able to pay the domain fee (Yeah) and auto renew, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from now on.  What an exasperating experience, but putting it behind me.  NOW, if Yahoo hadn't gone and messed up their site life would be good.

My Blog is Back!

Just when I had given up hope of ever getting my blog back, it magically reappeared.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - TIN FOIL BACKGROUNDS AND DIE CUTS

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.

This weeks idea is Tin Foil Backgrounds and die cuts.

So, get out the Reynold's Wrap and let's have some fun.

This is a simple technique with a real WOW factor!

Cut a piece of card stock (doesn't matter what color, so use your scraps) the

size you need for your background or die cut. Use a glue stick and glue the back of the card stock and adhere to the unshiny side of the aluminum foil. Turn it over and

smooth out the foil on the card stock.

Next, using alcohol inks and the applicator with a felt pad, pounce ink onto

the foil until your happy with the look (if it is too dark, use a couple of drops of

the blending solution on the felt pad and go over it again. Let this dry, it dries pretty quickly, so by the time you do another sheet it will be ready to use.

Now, run it through an embossing folder. You have a great background or

sheet to use for a die cut.

I used an Action Wobbler Spring in back of the image so they

bobble like they are in the water when you move the card.

I love this one too!

Traced the outline on white card stock and cut out.

Distress inked the edges of the white and glued the outline

onto it. Glued one to the top right side and popped the other one

up with pop dots.

I made six sheets while I had the supplies out, that way I have some

for the next time I want to use this technique on a card.
