Umbrella Girl

Hi friends.  Scheduling this post so that we can get up early and head out to our local farmer's market.  Want to get some Apples, bumper crop I hear this year compared to a very poor outcome last year.

I loved this stamp as soon as I saw it.  Kinda how we dressed when I was a child, although I never had a beautiful umbrella like this.

Inkadinkado Stamp

A simple card.  Used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder made
of metal that cuts the frame out and embosses at the same time.
Prima flowers and leaves, Kaiser Pearls, colored with Copics,
Edges sponged with Marvy light blue ink.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - LEAF WREATH CARD

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.

This weeks idea is to make a Fall leaf wreath card.

Card Recipe

Stamp - Stampendous Friendly Scarecrow (V282)
Inside Sentiment - Inkadinkado Autumn Phrases Mini (60-30566) clear set
Dies - Leaves - Impression Obsession (DIEO-30-S)
Sunflowers - Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations(657524) Tattered Flower Garland
Farmer's Market sign cut from paper from Websters Pages
Scarecrow colored with Copics
Tim Holtz alcohol inks
Glossy paper
Orange ribbon

I made the leaves by using glossy card stock and pouncing various colors
of alcohol inks with the sponge applicator until I filled a half sheet.
I did three sheets like this with different colors.  Then using the leaf die, cut out the die several times (7)  I cute a circle from card stock and also die cut the image out.  Glued the image circle to the cardboard circle and using a hot glue gun, randomly glued leaves around
the edge of the circle.

I made the sunflowers from one big green and one big yellow flower and one
smaller flower in yellow.  Layered them and distressed the yellow before adding a circle of dark brown for the center.  I glued two of them to the wreath, along with the little Farmer's Market sign and ribbon.

Used a 6x6 dark chocolate brown card base with a 53/4x5 3/4 green barn board paper mat.

This was fun to make, and loved the leaves.  Lots of options for the stamp you choose for the center, or you could pop the center image out.  How about a turkey for Thanksgiving?

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.  Until later.......
