CUPCAKE

Well, I am excited to show these adorable little cupcakes I made with a Sizzix Bigz XL Die.

And the best part is I bought this wonderful die at a "garage sale" my local stamp store

has once a year.  You can rent a table, bring anything that is cardmaking/stamping related, clearly marked with the price and sell it.  I bought this wonderful die for $ 8.00, it is originally

$34.99!  I spent a total of $58.00 and came home with stamps (house mouse), embellishments, and paper (two brand new 12x12 packs, Martha Stewart was one.)

These are the cupcakes I made.

This picture shows the little pocket that the die creates.

or if it is still available, I do know I am glad

I got it!

How fun are these!  The die also comes with a

candle cutout you can use instead of the cherry!

So much fun to decorate.

GOT IT!

Hello blogging friends. A quick post to show you a card I made for a Great Nephew for his

10th birthday.  The party was Sunday at a beautiful park and the theme was Sports.  He is an avid baseball, hockey, soccer player.  This is the card I made for him to celebrate his day.

I cut two circles with Spellbinders dies to make a circle card.

I laid the circle on some red paper and traced half a circle then moved it

over 1/4 inch and traced again. Cut it out and adhered it to the

card cutting off the excess.  Used a red gel pen to make the

stitching on the baseball.  Image is a Mo Manning Digi.  I

computer generated the sentiment.  Inside sentiment said

"One birthday is worth 10 regular days"  He and his Mom

both loved the card.

COFFEE BREAK

Hello friends, hope all is well with you.  Temps are cooler today and humidity is down....YES!

I wanted to make a card that looked like a take out coffee cup.  I know there are a couple

of companies that make a stamp, but they were really small.  So I went hunting on the internet.

I found a picture of one HERE.  I saved the image to my computer then played

around with sizing it to use as a complete card (to fit into a 5x7 inch envelope.)

Smaller to use on a 5x7 card. and lastly, smaller to use on a 41/4x51/2 inch card.

The sentiment on the sleeve of the coffee cup I found online also, it is an embroidery design.

I saved it to my computer and re-sized it.

BSS MONDAY IDEA - Diesel and Friends

Good Monday morning, and welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff  Monday Idea.

This weeks idea features a stamp by Impression Obsession, called Diesel

and Friends, and some framing.

Stamp - Impression Obsession-Diesel and Friends (H1945)

I stamped with Versamark Onyx Black ink and embossed with clear

embossing powder.  I like to emboss most images, but you can

stamp with Momento ink. 

I colored with Copics.

Paper - Plaid is Graphic 45 from the Raining Cats and Dogs

Collection.

White, Black and Charcoal Gray Card Stock.

Yellow Stickles on butterfly

If you love to color, this is a great stamp!

I added the ribbon to both corners before adhering

the finished frame to the card.

The tree branch die is Impression Obsession (DIE055N)
