BSS IDEA -JUST BEE-CAUSE

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Hello friends.  Good to be back With a new

card project this Monday morning.

I saw this card design on pinterest and

thought I would try one and share it with you today.

Here is a link to the gal that put a card on pinterest

using this design with measurements and pictures.

https://creativeleeyours.com/hello-buckle/

Buckle Card

Stamps and matching die set is Honeybee Stamps

Sentiment Stamps are Whimsey Stamps

Paper-Black, two different colors of yellow card stock, white with black

dots and black with white dots card stock

I used a small rectangle die to cut the slit for the flap to go through.

You could easily measure and cut it out with scissors.

I popped up the hive on the front as well as the bees.

This is the inside of the card when you open the outside flap.

The inside of the card

I finally got out into the yard and planted a small

garden, just peppers and tomatoes and some flower

pots.  Felt good to be outside and the warm sun felt awesome.

Hope everyone is doing well.

The stamps and dies I used today I purchased

from Sharon's online store, very grateful that

she was able to open an online store so quickly.

And her videos ON FACEBOOK have been a nice relief too.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a good week. Stay safe.

Until next week.

BSS iDEA -

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

First, congratulations to Sharon and Mark for making

it to the front page of the Sunday Morning Buffalo News.

Sharon did an interview and pictures were taken on

the effect of the shutdown of  "non-essential" businesses

on small business owners.

EXPECT a new way of doing business when stores reopen after pandemic

By Samantha Christmann

NEWS BUSINESS REPORTER

Paper arts stores like Buffalo Stamps & Stuff are an endangered species in the digital age. Owner Sharon Klima has kept the Amherst store viable for 30 years by offering personal classes and creating a touch-and-feel haven for crafters and artists.

“I pride myself on everything being hands on. We have a huge inventory to see and touch. There are tons of samples everywhere,” she said. “When people come in for the first time, they’re overwhelmed because there’s eye candy everywhere.”

Now, that will all have to change as Klima and retailers across New York prepare to reopen under a lengthy list of new state rules governing cleaning, protective equipment, screening and physical distancing to fight coronavirus.

Buffalo Stamps & Stuff owner Sharon Klima, with her husband, Mark, is preparing to make changes to allow her to reopen. John Hickey/Buffalo News

I have a cute card for you today.

which I ran through a Chicken Wire embossing folder.

Word Sentiment - Graphic 45 Farmhouse Collection papers

This was fun to put together.

Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people. I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.  This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them  and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Many thanks to our generous sponsor,Di's Digi Stamps  for

their continued support.
