BSS MONDAY IDEA - 4TH OF JULY

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
Today's idea is to make some un-traditional 4th of July cards.
After all, it is a celebration holiday, so let's have some fun.

I love this stamp, I have used it for just about every holiday!

Here is the finished card.
Stamp - Impression Obsession (G2332)
Inside sentiment - Jillian Vance Design, Let Freedom Ring (2011-014)
Spellbinder's die Adorning Squares (S4-389)
Paper - Red White and Blue card stock
Embossing Folders - Sizzix, Tim Holtz Alterations
4th of July set, including star border
Cuttlebug Stars folder
Colored with Copics
Added small punched starts to the round candy balls and white sparkly glitter.
Added Glossy Accents to the Rock Candy
Red and White baker's twine bow

Stamp - Stamping Bella Flora Cyclist (EB120)
Spellbinder's Grand Large Labels
Paper red and white card stock.
Colored Prisma Colored pencils and Copics
Star Dust Stickles on white ruffles
Sentiment - Jillian Vance Design, Let Freedom Ring (2011-014)
White and blue ribbon tie, from my stash
Clouds were made using a torn paper towel and sponging dye ink
from the paper towel edge to the card. Move the strip of paper torn paper towel
so the pattern isn't the same on each row of clouds.
Hope you have a fantastic 4th of July with friends and family.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.  Until later..............

LAZY SUMMER DAYS

It's HUMP day!  When I worked, we used to say we could see the weekend from here!

Today's card is for the challenge at Sassy Cheryl's, #172 Bling/Sun or both.

Awww, right?

I colored the digi with copics and fussy cut them out.
The grass die is cut from paper from Reflections (Michaels)
The sun stamp is old, from Stampendous.  The sentiment stamp is
PrintWorks.  The branch is a punch from Stampin Up and the birds are from
a punch by Martha Stewart.  The base card (clouds) is from my local stamp
store and I have had it for awhile, no name on it, sorry.  I added Yellow Stickles
to the sun.

Hope you have a great Wednesday.  Thanks for stopping by today. Until later.......

BSS MONDAY IDEA - GRADUATION

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
Today's idea is a couple of Graduation card ideas.
This first one is a card and gift pocket on the back.
This is a basic Spring Card.
Dawn Griffin has a wonderful supply list and video on how to
make this card, except I changed it up to make the front a Graduation
cap. Black and white paper and a couple of Graduation Stamps and a tassel
is all you need to make this card. Folds flat for mailing and pops up
when removed from the envelope. Front sentiment Inkadinkado (95060K)

And on the back, there's a pocket to hold cash or a gift card.
Sentiment on the back Hero Arts (F1171)

Another simple card to make, just like the layout and simplicity.
I used Navy Blue (but you could use any school colors) and
POM silver glitter paper, love this stuff, it's super sparkly and
thin, so it doesn't add bulk. Just a few simple layers, but
pretty elegant, I think. The sentiment on the front is
Wordsworth (s345K)
Thanks for stopping by today. Until later..............

GOING TO THE CHAPEL

Hi friends, hope your enjoying nice weather where you are.  Enough rain already!

Today's card is for the challenge at Totally Tilda Challenge #74 - Going for a Song.
Your card should be designed around a song.

Also, Magnolia Down Under -#201, Anything Goes

I chose Going to the Chapel by the Dixie Cups (1964)
Now, if your old enough to remember this song, you are going to be singing it in your head all day!!!

And this beautiful new stamp of Tilda as a bride from the new Special Moments Collection.

My finished card.

Spellbinders dies, Prima roses, gold rings from Michael's bridal department.
Sentiment is a dollar stamp from Michael's.  Paper doily, Organdy ribbon and
crystal heart, by Just Crystals.  Star Dust Stickles on her hat and the flowers.
Colored with Copics.  Pearl picks also from Michale's bridal dept.

I printed it on a black background too since there was so
much white.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later.............
