PUPPIES

Hi friends, finally a break in our weather, and cooler temps and humidity in its way to us.  So tired of being too hot!!  Looking forward to Fall.  Recently, A stamp show was in our area and four of us spent the day, shopping and doing make and takes and just having fun.  I have a ton of new things to play with.

One of the vendors at the show was Repeat Impressions.  I saw a card similar to the one I made here on display, but could not find the puppies stamp  anywhere.  I found a gal and asked her if they had the stamp.  She picked up a two inch by two inch stamp of the cute puppy face and said, remember the old technique of masking, well you use this little guy to make a bunch of puppies.  Just goes to
show you, this old dog with 20 some years of stamping, still has to be reminded of techniques she left behind.

Are these guys cute or what!

BSS MONDAY IDEA - Halloween

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Happy Labor Day.  Last holiday of the summer
before the kids return to school and cooler
weather and shorter days begin. Enjoy!

This weeks idea is a Halloween card.  Bought this wonderful Halloween stamp
at the show in Hamburg last weekend at BSS, and I could not wait to
color it, what fun.

Finished card

Stamp - Impression Obsession (L19017)
Card Base is 5x7 cream card stock
Papers - Orange card stock, Burlap paper (DCWV)
Yellow glitter paper
Colored with Copic Markers, cut out clouds with
white glitter paper and popped them up.  Also popped
up the shelf the pumpkins are sitting on.
Stickles Used, yellow, green, and orange.
Corners were made by marking a piece of
orange cardstock three inches from the edge, across
and down and cutting with your cutter from point to point.  The same
for the ones under the yellow glitter paper only they
are marked at two inches from the edge, across
and down and cut.  I placed them on opposite corners
for a different look.  Dotted stars in the sky with
a water based sharpie poster paint pen.  Wink of Stella
gold to outline the larger stars.
Three strands of twine in orange, yellow and green were tied
around the burlap layer before adhering and tied in a bow on
the left edge.  Glued two small leaves from my stash
in the middle of the bow and at the right bottom corner.

These guys are so cute and make a great Halloween card.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.  Until later.........

Smile

Hi friends.  Just a quick post to show you what I was playing with today.  Recently, I purchased a few Sizzix Bigz XL dies at really reasonable prices.  This retro camera card is one of my favorites so far.  I had fun playing today and making several of them up.  I created sentiments on the computer to go with for the inside, like Smile, it's your birthday, and Have a picture perfect birthday.

I made the blue and cream one in remembrance of a small
camera I once owned as a young teen.
I pretty much followed the picture on the packaging, and made
some slight changes.  Embossing folders for texture.
Really fun card, don't you just love the flash!!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later........
