STAND ALONE CARD.
OPENED UP SO DESIGN SHOWS.Hello. I did not find the perfect dress, in fact, I didn't find an acceptable dress. I bought a summer dressy pant outfit, but it is long sleeved, so I don't know if I'll wear it to event or not, but I'll have it for another time (It was on sale and I liked it!) So now I am going to have to go through the closet and find something I have worn once before and settle for that. I did make a pit stop at Michaels, and they are redoing the stamp dept at our local one. A lot of the paper stacks (Garden Party by DCWV one of my favs) are clearanced for $ 7.99. Great buy. And they are putting in a lot of new paper stacks, so the trip wasn't for naught. Today's card is for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge, which was Christmas. I just got this little Elf at my LSS on Saturday (for 35% off, YEAH). The card is called a Stand Up Card (by Penny Wessenauer)
It was the featured Try a new Technique on Split Coast Stampers a week or so ago.Penny has a lot of templates and beautiful cards. I tried to link the post here, but try as I might it did not work. There is a link on SCS. Hope you're having a great Friday. Until later....

Awwwww, how precious can one card get? This is adorable, another score from the great stamp sale? Adorable. I finally broke down and bought a Tilda from SSS, can't wait to get it!! We don't have any stamp stores in my town, so I have to venture into online territory, lol. So Michaels' far and wide are doing a papercraft revamp? And here I thought it was just mine... Mine... I should just haul in a tent and sleep there. Hope you have a good time at the reception, just wear different shoes than last time and maybe add a scarf, good as new!! By the way Sue, great new pic of the Falls and the newbie of you and Keeley is loverly. Enjoy what remains of your Sunday.

I adore this card -- I love interesting construction and this is very clever! I love DCWV papers too and sales are the best! I've got more paper than would be needed to paper the walls of all the buildings in downtown Phoenix -- but still I buy-buy-buy!
