Hi, hope your Saturday was good. I went out in the morning for awhile to Hobby Lobby, and when I got home I had a sinus headache. I took two aspirin and went to bed and still had it when I got up. Hadn't eaten anything, so made dinner and by the time we finished dinner felt better.
Supposed to rain again tomorrow here so will probably act up again.
Today's card is for the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge. I made this easel card with flower shapes from the Sweet Treats cartridge for the Cricut. The challenge this time was Flower Power. The image is just a portion of the stamp, so it could fit in the center of the flower. I distressed the edges of the folded up petals. I glittered up the flower so it looked dewy, but you can only see it if you enlarge by clicking on the picture.
Here is the inside of the card when you stand up the easel. I distressed the edges of the sentiment. The button is a brad (which I got at Hobby Lobby today!) on a punched flower.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Until later...........

ps Hope your sinuses are feeling better!!
Seems like you've been enduring some agonizing times with the head pressures and all, I hope you are in tiptop shape soon. On a different note, this card is adorable!! Now, one might think you are having an allergic reaction to all the pollen in this cutie but paper doesn't have that in there, so errrr, scratch that!!! Beautiful work Sue, love how you curled the petals!!
What a cool easel card! Very nice job! Glad you could play along with us at HM&F Challenge!
