YOU'VE GOT MAIL

We are having sweltering humidity and high heat temps here...........it stinks!  Too  hot to enjoy the patio or the yard or even going out.  Big parade tonight for our Erie Canal Fest Celebrations and can't even think about sitting outside in this heat to watch it, so will pass for this year!!  We are supposed to reach 95 by Thursday will no relief in site.......I don't ever remember reaching 95 degrees here in Western New York State!!!

Today's card is for the challenge at Penny Black and Friends Saturday #160, they want you to use bunting on your card (we call it banners).

Card Recipe:
Stamp - Penny Black
Papers - Cosmo Cricket - Salt Air
Banner/bunting - cute free hand strung on baker's twine, stamp by Inky Antics
stamped in clear embossing ink and embossed with white EP
Border circles Martha Stewart
Bow - Hobby Lobby
Letter and envelopes with heart cut by hand, stamp PB
White doily
Clothespin with ladybug, Michael's
Colored with Copic Markers

I used this adorable PB stamp that I recently bought at my local stamp store's garage sale from my friend Linda.....thanks Linda!  The banner was cut out free hand and strung on baker's twine.

Hope you have a great day today.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until later.................

Very cute! I love the vibrant colors. This heat is something isn't it?!?! I was out running around, well driving in my air conditioned car, this afternoon and it was over 95 here in Tonawanda. Even this evening I was out with my son and at about 8:00 it was still 90* on the Boulevard! Great time to stay in and do some crafting isn't it?!

Love the components in this one Sue. The DP, gingham checked ribbon lady bugs and flag banner. Excellent combination.

Sweltering here, too, on The River!
Too hot to enjoy the water. Better to stay in and stamp!
