BSS MONDAY IDEA - WHAT'S IN AN ENVELOPE

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF
MONDAY IDEA.
Both of today's cards are made from envelopes.
There is a great tutorial at
This first card is made from a white, 41/4 x 51/2 envelope.
Seal the envelope, cut 1 1/2 inches from one end. Run the
remaining piece of the envelope through an embossing folder (they use a
crimper in the tutorial), decorate as desired, made an insert just a little smaller
than the bottom of the card.

Here is a picture of the card and the insert.
The stamp used is Penny Black, Delicate Florals 40-103
Paper is Cosmo Cricket, Tea for Two (6X6 Stack)
Inside sentiment unknown
Border punch is EK Success
I made a second card, with a green 5x7 envelope.
Again, I ran the bottom portion of the envelope through a Sizzix embossing folder.
The Stamps are both from Northwoods. Papers are Doddlebug Designs 6x6 inch Stack,
Hello Spring. The adorable border is a die from Cheery Lyn Designs, Bunny and Chick (B171)
Colored with Copics. White Sparkle glitter on eggs in basket.

This picture shows the inside insert and cute poem stamp by Northwoods.
These are easy to make and you can't even tell they are made from a simple envelope.
Hope you have time to try one of these cards.

Have a great Monday.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Until later..............

I truly love this idea, and I may just use a version of it for my son's wedding card. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
