Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
This week we are going to make a quilted background.
I started with a 5x7 inch white card base.
I cut another piece of white card stock 4 1/2" x 6".
I then cute 6 pieces of designer paper 1 1/2" square.
Then, I chose another coordinating designer paper and cut 6 pieces 1 1/2" square.
Now, glue the squares, alternating patterns on your extra piece of card stock.
I cut a 1/2 inch strip to form a border and glued it on.
That's it, now center this on your base card and decorate the rest of your card anyway you like.
I chose this wonderful little deer stamp,
Stampendous, Special Delivery (CRM269)
Don't you just love this little mail carrier?
Used papers from Basic Gray, Jovial Paper pack
I spritzed with gold perfect pearls and water from a mini mister,
after I made the quilt background.
Snowflakes are punches
Green shimmery bow
Colored with Copic Markers
Crystal Stickles at his feet.
You can do this on any size card, just adjust the measurements for your "quilt"
background. You could use three different prints and alternate them too.
Hope you have a chance to try this.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great Monday. Until later.........
