BSS MONDAY IDEA - EMBOSS A SOLID STAMP

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea

This week we are going to emboss a solid stamp for a dramatic New Years Card.

This sentiment is from an old Hero Arts set.
Achieved the look by stamping on textured paper from a
prior years Christmas stack from S.E.I.

Love this fantastic image from Stamper's Anonymous.(22-2211)

The snow was achieved with Stampendous Chunky White Embossing Powder.
Just sprinkle it on the image where you want it and then heat from underneath so it doesn't blow around when you try to emboss it. (love this stuff)

The finished card.

Card Recipe

Stamps - Stamper's Anonymous (22-2211)
Sentiment old Hero Arts
Paper - Blue textured card stock from SEI Christmas stack from prior year.
Embossing powder - White for image, Chunky white for snow from Stampendous.
Dies - Spellbinder's Nestabilities 5x7 Elegant Labels 4 (S6-005)
For the black layer, I traced around the second Largest die in the set of three, cut it out,
then stamped the image with Versamark, embossed with White embossing powder,
and added the chunky white embossing powder for snow before attaching to
the blue die cut.
Grossgrain ribbon, clear rhinestones
White card stock base 5x7.

Wishing everyone a happy healthy, prosperous New Year in 2014.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day. until later...........

Very nice job with the embossing, Sue as well as the cutting out. Being as how I'm not that scissor savvy I always notice how good people are with cutting. You are among the best. This is a super nice card. I love the blue on here.
Enjoy your day.
