A HUGE THANK YOU

Dear Friends, I just wanted to take a minute and thank each and every one of you that left me a message, emailed me, and a special thank you to Donna Ellis for spearheading a card drive for my sister.

The past three weeks have been a whirlwind of doing a lot of sitting in the hospital.  It is so very stressful to have a loved one with a medical crisis and not be able to do anything to help except be there.

I am happy to report, that my sister has had major brain surgery, is come home as of Friday, walking, talking and making plans.  She is scheduled to begin radiation and chemo beginning next Monday for six weeks.  We so very much want to express our gratitude for the many friends, family and complete strangers who have walked with us on this journey.

I am also happy to report, that I am going to begin crafting again, and beginning tomorrow I will be posting my usual Monday House Mouse Challenge card, and my Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea post.

Here is a card I made a month ago.  It is a Spellbinder's die called Butterflies (S5-221).
I simply cut it in black, then again in yellow.  I cut the border off and  I adhered the black grid to a Pom Sparkly blue paper, then cut the yellow butterflies out and adhered them over the black. sponged Wild Honey distress ink on the butterflies and some Star dust stickles.

Thank you for continued prayers.

Big Hug

Gosh Sue I'm commenting in all the wrong way up, but it's so good to hear that the op went well and that your sister is making such a good recovery, and being there was the most important help there is. Onward and upward.
Gorgeous card, love all the butterflies, hugs Kate x
