BSS MONDAY IDEA - One for the Guys - Frame It

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

This week's idea is one for the guys, with a framing idea.

Are these little raccoons cute or what?

This week, I thought I would share this framing idea.

How I did it.

Base card is 5x7 inches.
Cut a piece of white card stock 31/2 x 6 inches
Cut a Brown piece if card stock 4 x7 inches
I used the Spellbinders long rectangles nestabilities to cut my frames.
Center the largest die on the brown card stock and cut and emboss.
Center the next size smaller die on the white card stock and cut and emboss.
Adhere the brown frame over the white frame by applying adhesive
near  the edge of the frame and centering it over the white frame.
Apply foam mounting tape to the outside edge of the combined frame.
Run your ribbon around the frame and tie in a small knot.
Center and adhere the frame to the card.
Center your image in the center of the opening of the frame.

What I used

Stamps - NorthWoods (O9527) and inside (B9525)
Inside sentiment - Repeat Impressions (4009G)
Paper - Black, White and Brown Card Stock
Spellbinder's Long Classic Rectangles Nestabilities (S4-142)
Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations leaves die (659573) Spring Greenery
Clouds sponged with Spun Sugar distress ink, and light blue dye ink
Narrow black gingham ribbon
Colored with Copic Markers

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day. Until later...........

WOW! Your card immediately caught my attention, Sue! The image is BEYOND gorgeous - yes, they are cute little raccoons, but your coloring has totally brought them to life! Beautiful card. I especially like how you created the dawn in the background - this looks like our backyard, with the night critters scurrying to their homes for the day's slumber, and the sun coming up and reflecting off the few fluffy clouds. Wonderful details and a magnificent card! hugs, de
