Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
Now that the Christmas paper and stamps have been put away, looking forward
now to Valentines Day. This week's idea is "It doesn't have to be red".
Non traditional colors are sometimes just the ticket for making a beautiful
card even more special.
Here, I have used cream, tan, and an aqua blue colored card stock.
The gold embossed sentiment and gold double bow and beads finish it off.
A close up of the heart which I have rimmed with gold
Dies are from Spellbinders
Tranquil Moments Card Creator Die set (S5-216)
Hearts - Plain (S4-136)
Scalloped - (S4-136)
Sentiment - Penny Black Transparent set
From the heart (30-207)
I used a glue gun to put the gold string beads on so they
would stay put!
All sorts of great color combinations look so pretty for
sweet Valentines Day cards.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day. Until later............
Such a gorgeous card Sue, I love the elegant design and a beautiful colour scheme. The gold embossed sentiment looks wonderful.
hugs Sue xx
Just beautiful. Love the tans with the aqua blue. Very nice card, Sue. Are you staying warm up there? It is 40 right now but will drop into the 20's by this afternoon and gradually going down. Possibly near zero Thursday morning. Brrr. Molly and Daisey won't go out when it gets this cold. Thank God for WeeWee pads. LOL Have a fun day.
WOW! That photo of Niagra Falls is amazing.
What a beautiful card.
Hope you have a good start to the week. Sue
Lovely card, Sue. I really enjoy the non-traditional colors for Valentines Day. Having a child born on the 12th, she was hammered hard with red and pink hearts. Here is to a wonderful New Year. Hope to get back into visiting.
How pretty the blue and tan Valentine are, Sue - very warm with the brown tone, and yet invigorating with the lively blue! Gorgeous die cuts! hugs, de
