Hi friends. Trying to finish up Easter cards and little gifts today. I made these pocket candy bar holders for two little friends of mine of Easter. I saw the chick on Pinterest, but no directions, so just winged it from the picture, and the bunny, I just played with some punches until I got a look I loved.
I am sure they will love the candy more than the little pockets, but will enjoy getting them anyway.
I just cut a 41/4 by 11 piece of cards stock
scored at 41/4 from one end and folded it
up to create the pocket.
Cut a large tag from card stock,
Used a Spellbinder's die for the scalloped heart
for the face, ovals for ears, pink inserts hand cut.
Circles for eyes and nose.
Whiskers were made with Martha Stewart fringe scissors.
Feet are ovals and small dot punch.
Piece of faux fur between the ears.
Baby chick is smaller, but made the same way.
wings, fee and beak are cut by hand.
Oval belly, run through embossing folder.
Tuft of yellow yarn from my stash. Black pearl
eyes
These were fun. A sheep would be cute too, but I am running out
of time, so will keep that idea for another time.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day.
Until later.................
