BSS MONDAY IDEA - ACETATE FISHBOWL CARD

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.

This weeks idea is an acetate card shaped like a fishbowl.

I found the template for the fishbowl  on line.  It was bigger
than I wanted so I just printed it and reduced it to 70% so
the card I made fit into a 5x7 inch envelope.

There are lots of choices and shapes for fishbowl templates.

My card

Inside sentiment

Stamps - Stampendous (CRP256) Gold Fish Pair
Inside Sentiment - Old Hero Arts B474
Acetate
Light Blue Glitter Paper
Plant Die - Cheery Lyn Designs (B117) Fanciful Flourish
Heart Die on inside is Memory Box Bingham Heart (98499)
Glittered bottom of fishbowl - Stampendous Vintage Glitter-Halo Silver Mix
Deckled edge scissors to cut top water line on
glitter paper.

Cut out your fishbowl template with Acetate.
I ran a blue marker over the top and bottom lip
of the fishbowl and let it dry, on the front of the card only.
Trace the shape of the fishbowl part of the template
out of glitter paper. Using a clear glue, add some of the
silver glitter to the bottom. I stamped and fussy cut the fish out after
coloring with Copics and ran a black marker around the
edges of the fish. Glue the plant and fish in place on
the Glitter paper. Run a bead of clear drying glue around
the edge of the glitter paper and adhere to the inside of the
front of the card.
Add a sentiment that will fit behind the glitter paper so it does not
show when the card is closed.  Glue it into place on the inside of
the  card,

You could also make a rectangle card to look like an
aquarium and cut a jagged edge across the top for a water line.

Glad you stopped by today. Have a great day.  Until later.......
