BSS MONDAY IDEA - A WATERFALL CARD

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.

You know, stamping and card making techniques come and go.
We learn a special fold or card idea and make a few cards and
move on to the next idea.  I had forgotten until recently how fun
a waterfall card was to make, so I thought we would revisit a couple
this week.

I found a great tutorial HERE

http://stampsnjewels.blogspot.com/2012/01/waterfall-card-and-tutorial.html

You can click on the images to enlarge them for a better look.

This first one is a Winter card.
Base Card is 51/2 by 6 tent folded card
Stamp set used is Sweet and Sassy Stamps SNS-12-074
WINTER SILHOUETTES
Papers are American Crafts
Spellbinders dies (you can use any shape)
Two Brads
Tab punch (you can use a small circle and fold it
in half to make a pull tab.)

This is the front of the card with the water fall
completely closed.

A Valentine
The second card is a 5 1/2 x 5 inches tent folded card
Papers used from 6x6 pad by Carta Bella from
last year, Words of Love
Pink, and two shades of gray card stock
The images are Graphic 45 Paper from the Time for Flourishes
collection, February papers
I distressed the edges and inked them with
Vintage Photo distress ink
Two Heart Brads
Tab punch

Once you put one together they are really simple to do.
And who doesn't love a card that moves!!

Hope you get a chance to revisit the waterfall card, or
make your very first one!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later......

Two winners. They are just great. I have never tried to make a card like this, but thanks to your link maybe I can get around to trying one. Enjoy the day.
