Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
I love old things. When I saw this stamp, it reminded me of my Grandma,
who lived upstairs from us. She had a Singer Sewing Machine in black
with the gold scroll on it.
When I climbed the stairs to go see her, I could
hear the hum of the machine before I opened the door to go in. She made
so many wonderful things for us as kids
. So, I just had to have this wonderful stamp.
Stamp - Pink Ink Stamp Company, Sewing Machine (2222K)
I used white, red, black and gold card stock
Rectangle stitched dies
Colored with Copics
I used a gold krylon pen, expelled some ink on a piece of
foil and painted the gold on with a fine paint brush.
Inside sentiment was computer generated and says:
You can't make old friends, you either have
them, or you don't.
I love when a stamp evokes a memory!
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day. Until later......

Hi Sue, Love the card. My mum had a Singer sewing machine that was black with gold writing and swirls. It was a treadle one.
Hope you have a good day. Sue
Hello Sue, I'm chuckling to myself because when I read your title I immediately thought of my hubby. Anyway, fabulous card and those old sewing machines were indeed a thing of beauty. My mum never had a sewing machine but still managed to make all my little dresses by hand., hope you are well, Kate x
A fabulous card Sue, great image - I still have one of these sewing machines, one of the pedal ones that folds down into a table. I don't use it much, I have a modern electric one as well but I would never part with it, it belonged to my Grandmother.
