Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
I saw this idea on a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers and just
could not wait to share with you.
As we all know, selfies are a way of life now..
Everyday we see them on social media and if
your out and about you see folks taking pictures of
themselves and friends all the time.
Well, this has now been brought to the stamping world!
What a fun idea and so many possibilities.
First, here is my "selfie card"
How fun right?
Check out your background stamps and
have fun with this idea. I almost put the
crazy birds in Paris, but changed it to
this lake view stamp.
Stamps - Crazy Birds, Tim Holtz Sissix
Background Stamp - Impression Obsession J7789
Inside Sentiment from the Stampingbella set EB303
Samantha and Sierra take a selfie
I stamped on glossy paper and used
distress inks and the sponge applicator to
color it in.
I colored and die cut the birds and positioned them
on the background.
This is such a fun card to make, and
the young people in your life will love
it.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day.
Until later...........

Such a great card, Sue. You did a remarkable job with your background. I think these crazy birds could visit Paris also once they are finished with their trip to the lake. LOLEnjoy your week.
Wow Sue, this so beautiful! Love the scene you created, super!
I love that sentiment. And the crazy birds too. There so fun to use.
LOL! Leave it to you, Sue, to create a beautiful, colorful, majestic, realistic background, and up pop two crazy birds in a selfie! LOL VERY cute, and comical, and so prettily designed! It's a wonderful card, Sue!
Wishing you a great week-end!
