A Gift from a Sweet Friend

A week or so ago, I received an envelope from the Netherlands
from a sweet friend, Dora Buist-deVries

This young woman is a talented Artist whom I met several years ago because of
blogging.  We both admit that we have a very special friendship and a certain
bond with each other.

So, back to the envelope from Dora.  Inside the envelope was a lovely note
wishing me a happy birthday, and included two large stamps from Crafty Individuals.
AND, under the picture of the stamps t says "From a drawing by Dora Buist-de Vries".

I could not be happier that her artwork has been made into stamps.  She was already
selling digi's of her artwork.

So, my card for this post is one of the stamps tucked into the envelope.
It is called Happy Days Hooray.

I so enjoyed coloring it up in watercolors and will get to the second stamp very soon.
Thank you so much, Dora, for the lovely stamps, and birthday wishes.

Congratulations on your work with Crafty Individuals!!!

I kept the card simple because there is so much going on
on this wonderful stamp.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day, Until later....

hello Sue,

What a beautiful card have you made with this stamp. Beautiful coloured. So pretty that the postman deliver the post. Thank you so much for being a friend. You are so sweet.
Yes, a friend from blogging, right? I think I was on your blog by 2011 and I saw your amazing scenes and the challenge where you put your cards. Craft a Scene. And if I do not forget, you are almost the first follower too. And I don't know why that you want to be a follower of my blog, because you made outstanding cards and I was very bad in these days in making cards. I was just beginning with stamps then. Before I was making cards from the cuttingsheets.
What long time ago. What blogs can do....
Have fun with these stamps. You deserve it.
