Santa Claus

Good Morning.  It's finally Friday!  The kids only have a half day of school today, so I have to get them on the bus and then go back in 3 hours and find something to do for the afternoon.  I told them we would do
something, maybe a movie or lunch or both.

Today's card is the most beautiful Santa by Flourishes.  I have had this stamp since Monday when it came in the mail, and hadn't had time to ink it up.  As soon as I did, I remembered how beautiful it was.  My only complaint is, it's a clear stamp and I have trouble inking them up.  I have tried every kind of  ink and I am never satisfied, so I wish it was rubber. I had so much fun making this card.  I have a lot of Santa stamps, but this is by far the most beautiful.  Very nostalgic, like when I was little.  He looks like he just came inside from the reindeer barn, through the cold and snow...............The papers I used  are all Basic Gray, Wassill, another favorite.  I forgot to take a picture of the inside sentiment.  The flowers are Prima, and the embroidery snowflake is by Edith (my sister).  They are so beautiful (thanks Edith).  I am going to be giving some in my December giveaway beginning on December 1st!

I'm entering this card in the Winter Wonderland challenge (http://www.christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.com/)  this week, which is St. Nick!  PERFECT.

Hope your Friday is wonderful.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Until tomorrow...........

Sue, how do you do it? This is so very drop dead gorgeous and so reminiscent of early Christmases and wonderful traditions. I agree with you that this has to be the best Santa ever! Edith has made a fabulous contribution with the ever so delicate snowflake. I've posted your "Over the Top" award and linked back to you encourage folks to come by. Have a wonderful week-end.
