Hello. Hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday. I got to spend most of the day in my stamp room. First I had a chance to look over all the goodies I got at Hobby Lobby on Monday. Then I opened a package from Sweat Pea Stamps that had arrived on Tuesday. I ordered some of the Ching-chou kuik Fantasy Art Collection stamps. Well, I knew I had to stamp one and color it up.
I chose this beautiful winged beauty. I am entering her in the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC39)(http://www.priscillastyles.blogspot.com/), and the Simon Says Stamp, which had a beautiful red rose picture to use as inspiration. There is a link to their site on the right. I loved how she turned out after coloring her with Copics, but then I decided to mist her with Glimmer Mist and I am disappointed that it made the colors much less vibrant. The heart is trimmed with punched circles to give it the scalloped edge. The roses are from Michaels Bridal Dept. I glazed them with Papier clear, then sprinkled Martha Stewart glitter on them. Corners are a Sizzix die. Lace is a MS border punch.
Have a great rest of the day. Thanks for stopping by. Until later..............

Sue the colours you've used here are gorgeous - and I'm always in awe as to how you so perfectly match the colours of the papers to the image ...or is it matching the image to the papers? I always get it wrong! ;) ...But you never seem to.
Love the scalloping on the heart too - great idea.
