Good Monday Morning. Time for another Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Challenge. Today's challenge is to make a Tag Kimono Card. I made these years ago from a pattern I got on the old Caroll Duvall show. I printed the pattern out and when I was looking for something for this weeks challenge ran across it and thought it would be fun to revisit this card
You start with three tags, 1 - 3 1/2 inch tag and two 2 1/4 inch tags. I covered the tags with designer paper and stamped on them. You can ink the tags and stamp on them or any other technique to desire. I ran the larger tag through a cuddlebug folder for texture. Then you simply add the two small tags upside down (be careful when you are decorating them to remember how they get assembled) just on the edge of the large tag . Attach any kind of beads or embellishments to gold string or cord and tie to openings on the small tags (sleeves). Mount to the front of a card.
The sleeve butterfly is a stamp by Great Impressions. The butterfly medallion stamp is by Rubber Stampede.
The small stamps used are from a wood set by All Night Media.
I sprayed the entire Kimono when I was finished with Sparkly Shimmer Spritz Spray.
I outlined the Kimono with a Krylon Gold Leaf Pen.
Dust off your oriental stamps and give this a whirl. Hope you get a chance to try this Tag Kimono Card.
Thanks for stopping by. Until later.............
