BSS MONDAY IDEA - SUMMER DISTRESS INKS

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.

This weeks idea is using the new Summer Colors of Distress inks by Tim Holtz for Ranger.

Here are the three new colors.  They come bundled together, and are available for
a short time only.  The refill inks are also available for a limited time.

Here is what I made using these bright fun colors.
The papers used on the cards are from My Mind's Eye, Fine and Dandy Girl 6x6 Pad

On this card, I used the Picked Raspberry ink on the flower.
Used the Tim Holtz Alterations die, Tattered Flower Garland (657824)
White cardstock was used, then sponged with the distress ink on the edges to leave some white space.
Each layer was popped up with dots.  Leaves were sponged with the Mowed Lawn ink from the set.
After the flower was assembled, I painted it with DecoArt-Ice Crystal Glamour Dust Paint.
The oval die is Spellbinders Floral Ovals S4-356
Sparkly green ribbon.

On this card, used the Salty Ocean Distress Ink to stamp the sentiment (Hero Arts C4496)
and the flowers (Hero Arts G-4916 Elegant Flower)  The fence is Cheery Lyn Designs - B123 Victorian Picket Fence.  The birds are a border stamp from Martha Stewart and I cut some for on the fence, also.  The Moved Lawn was used for the grass.  I used a raised lined white cardstock
for a different look.  Distressed  the fence with Frayed Burlap ink.

The birdcage was stamped with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink by Stampendous (M256 Tiered Birdcage)
Distressed the edges of the image and sponged the ink around the edge.  Paper is My Mind's Eye, as stated above.  Green baker's  twine.  Used green glitter paper for the card base.
Small green brads on image.

These are such fun colors.  Need to get them while you can.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great Monday.  Until later..........
