RED HOT HEARTS

Hi friends, hope you are enjoying your Sunday.  I made a card for the challenge at Mo's Challenge Blog challenge  #141, Straight from the Heart.

I used the adorable Alisa with Roses digi.

A simple card, The background is
a thin metal sheet of bright red soft metal that I ran
through the heart embossing folder (called Venus Crest) by
Couture Creations.  I've had this metal in several colors
a long time and can't even remember what I did with it originally.
It is on a roll and came in a plastic tube, made by American Art Clay Compnay, Inc.
and is called Art Emboss Colored Foils. They have it in several places, but here is
a link to Dick Blick Art Supplies.  Just Google Art Emboss Colored Foils and
a ton of places come up, if your interested.
Colored with Copic Markers.  Heart was punched out of the same metal.
Love how the light hit the metal and made it look like it glows!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Until later...........

Sue, terrific card. I love that foil. I have some and have been a bit intimidated by it so it still sits in my draw. But I think when I get back home I will have to try embossing some of it. I am back in California to help my cousin out again while she is sick.
Talk to you soon.
