Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.
Today's idea is to make a card using some of the new beautiful lacy dies.
Not just using the die for the front of the card, but making the entire card
from the die.
This card is made using the Resplendent Rectangles die by Spellbinders (S5-147)
Both dies used are from the same set.
Here is a side view of the card.
The card is made using the hinge method.
There is a wonderful tutorial from Amazing Paper Grace's Becca
using this method.
This is the inside of the card.
Inside sentiment is Hero Arts.
The second card is made using Spellbinders die Decorative Labels Eight (S5-148)
And Grand Classic Oval Nestibilities. The Stamp used on both cards is
Stampendous Cling Carnation.
Side view of card.
This card was made by cutting two dies. On the die that you will use
for the inside, measure down about 1/2 to 3/4 inch on the top of the right side of the cut die, then score across the top. Fold on score, add adhesive to this strip and adhere the two sections, front and back together to create a card that will open freely.
Inside of card. Sentiment is from a small clear set,
sorry I discarded the packaging, so I don't know whose it is.
More beautiful dies are coming out everyday, and they make such beautiful cards.
Hope you have a chance to try this idea.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great Monday. Until later......
