At the Beach

Hi Friends.  Such a nice day today, warm and sunny.  Took a long walk along the
Niagara River today with the Pup.  She met a tea cup something, only about 4 pounds tops, little curly white dog,  Keeya was enchanted by her, I think because she was so little.  Next dog she met was a Great Dane.  He was also young, so they were wanting to play.  The big and the little extremes today.

My card today is for the challenge at Saturated CanaryIt's challenge 42, All Things Bright and Beautiful with an optional color scheme, which I followed also.

I used this darling digi -Toes in the Sand for my card.

I colored the sand then used Fran-tage Embossing Powder.
Two small real sea shells were added and a star fish sticker.

Card Recipe

Card base Aqua textured card stock.  Dotted designer papers are
from Hobby Lobby.  The Fuchsia layer (looks red in the picture) is textured
card stock.
The flowers are K & Company stickers, as well as the star fish sticker.
Flip Flops and sentiment stamps are  dollar stamps from Michael's
Fish punched from a small punch from glitter paper
Ribbon is from my stash
Spellbinders oval dies
Colored with Copics.
Sponged background, water stamp is Stampscapes
Sky was done with sponge applicator and a torn paper towel.

I also wish to enter this card in the following:

Celebrate the Occasion #110 - Anything Goes
Cutie Pie Challenge - #43 Lots of Layers
Love to Create #63 -Punches/Dies

Thanks for stopping by today.  Until later................

Our dogs sure miss the grand doggie tonight. They seem lost.... Your walk sounds like it was fun. Great card, Sue! I don't have any of the Sat. Canary images yet...I think I 'need' some! Have a good evening!

Sorry I have missed some of your latest posts, but I have been away. Love what you have done with this sweet image from SC! The weather is still being a bit fickle around here, so a warm day on the beach sounds quite inviting to these old bones!

Sue, what a darling image and I love the tan you gave her. Fabulous job on the beach sand and all of your little embellishments are just great. I would have love to been along on your walk with Keeya to see her reactions to those two dogs. They bring so much fun to our lives, don't they?

I'm really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one today. yahoo login mail

I have read this article many times, and I found it very helpful. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this and click here to apply for an urgent visa to India from NZ. An e-visa to India has now become easier to obtain.
