Birthday

Just a quick post to show you the birthday card I made for our daughter.  Her birthday was
the day before Thanksgiving and her Dad's was on Thanksgiving.

When I had her, she was three weeks overdue (they would not allow that to
happen now!) My Mom and my sister were calling me every morning to see if
 I was having any contractions.

When my Mom arrived at the hospital, she came into the room
and said "couldn't you have waited one more day"  One of my favorite stories.

All of the papers are from a 12x12 paper stack from JoAnn's.
Because I always give them money for their birthdays
and with this open bottomed box there was no where to put
it, I simple lifted the front flap on the box, cut a narrow
strip of white carstock to fit across the flap, and attached
it on each side .  Then I just folded the cash and
slipped it through the opening on the strip to hold it
in place.  Worked out great.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  Until later....
